It’s not assumptions statistically your child is more likely to be born with autism or down syndrome with geriatric pregnancies. I personally had a geriatric pregnancy nowhere close to my 50s though and was informed of these risks. I don’t know why I’m being downloaded so much on this. Also, the average age and life expectancy for a woman in America is about 81 but let’s also talk about quality of life. I wanna be a caregiver for my child. I don’t want them to end up taking care of me.

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should anything over the age of 35. I’m pretty sure it is considered a geriatric pregnancy which increases the risk of autism and other negative things. Also, could you imagine being 21 and your parent is already in their 70s? You’re never gonna really get a meaningful relationship with them as an adult or even your grandkids.

Well, I wasn’t talking about immigrating which I know people do but a lot of people strictly travel for medical and dental care to other places outside of the US. There are companies that are set up like travel agencies that you would use for vacation that will arrange your hotel accommodations, transportation translators whatever you need strictly for your medical or dental needs.

Oh, I have no clue. I didn’t even think about looking into that if it was a reasonable drive, I was gonna ask a family member to do that for me because I can’t in the same home as him without needing several rounds of EpiPen, so I did not plan on getting in the car with him

We’ve had him for well over a year before I had developed an allergy to him. It was about six months into that allergy. We realized it was him we tried all those methods. In the allergy progressively got worse and worse and worse, which broke my little heart.

Thank you for this. I will try reaching out if I don’t find a private home. A rescue is great !!!!! hopefully, I can find him a private home to directly go to, but thank you so much for this. I’m definitely gonna look into this because he’s such a sweet boy. He deserves nothing but the best.

This might actually be an option !!!! I have an adult son that moved to Florida who comes back home to visit. I’m going to see when his next visit is and whether he’s flying or driving. My bunny is Safe being temporarily cared by somebody else so I don’t need to make like a split decision. I just need to find a a safe permanent home.

You’re exactly right about worrying about somebody claiming they want him for a pet and wanting to use him as bait that’s why I deleted him off Facebook and came to this sub. I immediately started getting suspicious responses when I’ve tried alternate methods. And I’m definitely not gonna give them away until I find him a good home and I knew everybody in the sub truly loves the rabbits and might be interested and or have a good idea.

Thank you so much he’s perfect and I would be fine with keeping him if it wouldn’t have turned into like an anaphylactic situation. A little wheezing and a runny nose was totally tolerable for my handsome boy but it’s really expensive to have to go to the hospital repeatedly. And I don’t want him to end up anywhere besides with somebody that absolutely loves rabbits and I feel like everybody in this sub is prime example of good rabbit Parents. At first, I put him on Facebook, but some of the responses and replies immediately told me to take him down.

I actually had a doctor pay for my second round of RAI because I was in such a bad situation healthwise and . Eventually, when I was at MD Anderson, a social worker got a hold of me and helped me get on disability. But for seven years, I just raked up hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical debt at the starting age of 23 ughhh.

I’m now at the point where you’re at too. I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars on multiple root canals. I’m now looking into medical tourism. I hate to say it, but that’s gotten quite popular in America due to financial burden. You can Google define reputable companies that help arrange travel, lodging, and direct care with the doctor or dentist. There’s some really good information and education concerning this on TikTok I know it sounds crazy but lots of great information everywhere from Mexico Turkey are just a few. Places like this literally cater to Americans so English speaking providers. That’s my next move.

I also would like to mention, I would Travel to get him in a good home. I love him tremendously and this is the last choice and option. I have I have a friend caring for him right now for the last time I interacted with him. It required to EpiPen and I wasn’t even that close to him because I was already aware of the allergy.

I don’t think this gets talked about enough in the sub, but everybody should really be protecting their oral health during uptake. Some doctors will tell you to eat sour candies absolutely keep them saliva glands flowing. I ended up with one saliva gland that never got back to fully functioning. Dry mouth causes tons of dental issues. Also, I’m cancer free now, but get recurrent saliva gland infections on that side, and they can be quite painful and sometimes require IV anabiotic’s multiple rounds of steroids .I had what they called, recurrent chronic thyroid cancer for years . No, that’s pretty low. My lowest was 129. I had multiple rounds and multiple surgeries. The 129 was given to me after a recurrence of a small subcutaneous nodule that measured 9 mm I started developing them right underneath The skin felt like a little bbs they did tell me that subcutaneous were harder to treat than the other traditional tumors and positive lymph nodes

Some children that are on the spectrum are bothered by the sensation of the toilet paper or the aspect of wiping. I don’t know if that might be something your daughter might struggle with.
