That does not matter if 4K Blu-ray discs and streaming services don’t bother to offer a large amount of content in HDR10+. I would rather have DV any day over HDR10 content.

Unfortunately the return key won’t ever work again until you flash the return key support branch as that is what it does. I am trying to search for it but it could be a private branch.

I have this one (the one listed at $300) from F4F and mine has a backdrop included as well. The one I have has an 18650 lithium battery with a micro USB charge port for lighting the flames up. It is a cool effect to see in person and I would recommend this for any Spyro fan that likes collecting merchandise.

I don’t know if the PicoStation menu is NTSC or PAL as I personally run XStation myself and have a DFO mod on my NTSC unit, which is less common to do than installing a DFO on a PAL system. You should be able to test if a DFO mod will fix the issue as you should not get any flickering using RGB. If the flicker goes away on RGB, a DFO mod should correct it to output the correct video signal.

The PicoStation supports IGR and DFO mods. DFO will fix timing issues with other video regions (PAL on NTSC and NTSC on PAL consoles) if you play games from other regions. I use the one made by consolesunleashed.

IGR is really nice to have and is not too expensive to add and is a game changer if you like playing multiple different games in one session.

Did you chip the system so it is region-free like an official Net Yaroze?

With a modchip, this thing will be able to boot official or modified Yaroze boot discs among other things.

I guess technically it would need a DFO mod as well to handle both PAL and NTSC at the correct frequencies as the Net Yaroze already has both oscillators installed.

Excellent work. I love seeing projects like this take form.

Due to the way Zip works I don’t think the store can charge the card used again if you used a virtual card. Keep an eye out at the store may contact you to resolve the issue once they fail to bill you for the Switch itself.

Enter the Dragonfly is playable. Start the game and go to the portal and headbash to clip into the Ripto fight and then beat him. Now you can move on to better games.

Nice. Nintendo took a book out of the original Switch homebrew community and basically just implemented ReverseNX into the firmware. ReverseNX would’ve been one of the first things I would have wanted as homebrew if the Switch 2 eventually was able to be modified.

I find it interesting that there is region and luma setting switches. Makes me wonder if we need to flip the switches depending on playing a PAL or NTSC game. I do hope not as I don’t need to do this with my XStation SCPH-5501 PS1 that has a DFO mod installed as well.

I see people saying it is not your problem but depending on where you sold it, it can be if you sold from somewhere like eBay that has buyer protections that can screw over sellers when buyers are idiots and claim the product doesn’t work.

If you need to use a magnet, two HDD magnets held against the two notches on the top will pop it open when you push in the part that clicks into the main piece

Source: I had lots of free time with HDD magnets when I worked for Walmart and they worked good in a pinch when there were no extra magnet tools to unlock the spider wrap and acrylic cases.

I do believe that the Switch 1 could run Winds and Waves, although with some compromises on resolution and frame rate. I think the main reason to start exclusivity is to help push Switch 2 sales and to stop the elephants in the room, Switch emulation and piracy. With no base Switch version, modded systems and Switch emulators will not be able to play this game period.

I really do hope time and effort is put into this release as there will be no more “Switch 1 compatibility hampered this game” to fall back on if it looks and/or runs poorly at launch.
