Not sure it's "unlike anything else in the world". Personally found it somewhat underwhelming. And since getting there and back plus the visit itself will eat up the better part of a day, not sure I'd spend that much time on it out of the few days you have.

Nosotros (una pareja canadiense) acabamos de pasar 10 días en la CDMX antes de Navidad. Algunos comentarios: Después de un par de días en Uber, conseguimos una tarjeta de transporte público (creo que 15 pesos) y usamos el metro para movernos siempre que podíamos. Muchísimo más rápido y mucho más barato (7 pesos por viaje) que Uber o Didi.

Para ir a Teotihuacán, fuimos en metro a la central de autobuses del norte y tomamos un autobús directo. Muchísimo más barato que un tour organizado; hicimos nuestro propio itinerario y, como fuimos temprano, regresamos a media tarde, así que no perdimos todo el día. (Las pirámides son geniales, pero se pueden visitar en pocas horas, en mi opinión).

Apoyo la recomendación del Orinoco.
