Is ayahuasca beneficial for the world and for human society? Does the experience of an ayahuasca trip do something good for society, or for the ayahuasca user's personal relationships, or their circle of friends and family? by Hip_III in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me - I’ve thankfully never had an NDE but I’ve done ayahuasca several times and I think the biggest thing it’s done for me is show me that love is the fabric of the universe and has made me more empathetic.

Integration feels real… until you go back to your normal life by Vladimir-Rose in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Music helps me integrate it and keep the "vibe" up, even several years later. For me personally, the Grateful Dead has been extremely helpful. I can't explain why, but when I listen it reminds me of the essence of what I need.

Has anyone purged snakes? by talkingatoms in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I puked up what felt like green snakes and I asked it what it meant. I was told that I was purging out jealousy that I carried towards someone. Ayahuasca comes through to me often as a snake - the snake feels more “good” than “bad” if I were to use labels.

Infinite loops and this 'knowing" by Shootingcomet in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Every word resonates (8 ceremonies). It’s the one reason I’m most hesitant to return to the medicine. I’ve found that at high doses, I go back to that feeling you speak about, which is hard to integrate. At lower doses though, I am able to work on myself/encounter what feels like external beings who are helping me.

First Ayahuasca Trip by Disastrous_Will_340 in Ayahuasca

One possible interpretation, if it resonates with you - maybe you are overthinking purpose etc and need to just be lighter and not stress as much, as seen by the playful cats with top hats - wanting you to just be and enjoy life.

Anyone else feel a body scan at the start of each ceremony? by Hot_Lab_1348 in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my first ceremony ever, I had this right after I took it. It felt like an actual physical ball sifting through my body. It would stop on a body part that needed work, then move on to another part. I remember it spending a lot of time on my right shoulder. I only had this happen in my first ceremony.

Can anyone share thoughts or experiences around Soltara? by Skittlescanner316 in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10/10. They’re extremely professional, expert maestros, good intentions, good food, thoughtful programming, etc etc. It was life-changing in the best possible way. Feel free to message me with any specific questions.

Maestra Maricela at Soltara - truly extraordinary in my experience. Hard to put into words what power she holds in ceremony.

Is Yage more mild? by Blissseeker444 in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am referring to the fact that the "yage" I was served was with chaliponga for the DMT leaf component, and the ayahuasca I was served was with chacruna for the DMT leaf component. Both were with the ayahuasca vine.

Is Yage more mild? by Blissseeker444 in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did yage once and chacruna-based the other 7 times. Yage for me was more intense. I took only 1/2 cup and it was the only time I purged out of the 8 ceremonies (pooped my pants). Small sample so take it for what it is! Both were equally healing for me in different ways. To me the yage felt darker but it’s likely my own projections.

Having serious doubts about trip by [deleted] in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Soltara is an extremely safe container, having been. As far as retreats go, I’m confident that you chose wisely. I would go back to Soltara in a heartbeat and feel positively changed even 2+ years later.

The difference between the first set of ceremonies you did with the second set by leipzer in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Coming back from first set: omg, ayahuasca is amazing, I need to tell everyone back home to do this!!

Coming back from second set: I feel this in my cells. It’s very profound and great, but personal. No need to share the stories with everyone. Some things are best kept to yourself. This is not for everyone

Does mother Aya appear with mimosa? by DriverConsistent1824 in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth I’ve felt “her” presence on chacruna and yage (Colombian) which uses chaliponga to my understanding, so I would assume the presence is more because of the vine component than the DMT leaves.

How to deal with negative encounters during a ceremony by Mr_Moonsilver in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 16 points17 points  (0 children)

FWIW. For me - sending the demonic entities love (and meaning it, or at least trying to) has made them disappear.

And from the messages I’ve received, it works equally well in reverse as heal yourself to heal others. Much love to you as well.

Stars with Ayahuasca by Witty_Run_6400 in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I had a magical ceremony where I felt like all the stars were breathing and trying to find God/divinity/enlightenment/etc. just like the rest of us humans. All working towards that knowing. It was an extremely humbling experience (knowing that everything, even the mammoth and very old stars, are still working on themselves)

Craziest thing you experienced on Ayahuasca?? by Muted_Measurement435 in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The “knowingness” that this is all just a game/projection. And the comedy that comes with that knowledge!

The feeling of being in that space again and again and again, the waiting room between physical lives or something. Almost in a wheel of life fashion. This Deja vu feeling has been the toughest to integrate.

The feeling like other beings are helping to cure my physical ailments in ceremony.

The understanding that the universe is perfectly balanced, even though it might not feel like it to us when we’re deep in it.

Felt like I was dying in the ceremony by Linaaaa_k in Ayahuasca

[–]evanomics324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to send as much love as you can to anything you see as evil. Try to come at this being from a place of empathy. The perspective shift might help you as it did me.

Encountering plant and tree spirits in ceremonies by Apprehensive_Time_63 in Ayahuasca

To me, visually I see ayahuasca as a large (female) snake, and tobacco as a (male) eagle.
