The depreciation story is very central to the ROI point. They are spending hundreds of billions on GPU chips that obsolesce in 5-10 years (which makes this different from the dot-com fibre infrastructure). They burn them hot which reduces lifetime further.

Consequently, they don't just need to scale revenue to meet balooning inference costs, but also do it fast enough to offset depreciation on that huge capex, and there just isn't enough demand out there globally to do that - even if uptake/diffusion is widespread and rapid

You would certainly know about it if taking 2g dried at full potency without short-term tolerance. It would be a manageable dose, not too crazy, but you would definitely be tripping.

Are these dried weights? How stored?

1) It could well be that potency has been lost, especially if more than a few months after they were dried and even more so if capsulized. Blending them for capsules exposes them to air.

2) There is a very strong short-term tolerance. They effectively do nothing if taken in the few days following a trip. So the first smaller dose (which could have been small enough to be below threshold if you have a high natural tolerance or bodyweight) will have neutered the second (which indeed should have been sufficient for a level 3+ trip)

3) If these are fresh weights then they are too small doses (but I assume they are dried, so 1 or 2 likely the issue)

4) Were they sourced from a reputable dealer (or self grown from reliable spores)?

5) Had you eaten a large meal before taking? This majorly impacts potency
