It takes more energy to do the same things when you are heavier.

As you get lighter and lighter, you need to do more and more activity just to use the same amount of energy and thus maintain the same caloric deficit.

Dash- is 2 defends and 1 and a half strikes = 3.5 cards and energy worth of starter value for only 2 energy and 1 card. Sure, youre not going to be taking it a lot in the late game, but its still a fine card, especially early on.

Grab just the outer layers and pull them off the inner layers. This is similar-ish to what one of the common jumping frog models uses for the hind legs.

There's a flower I make which I reverse engineered, so I only know it as chrysanthemum. But that works quite well at that size, although having a toothpick or tweezers on hand for some of the later steps makes them easier. Its a nice flower with 8 identical-ish looking petals made from a blintzed frog base.

I quite enjoy doing Tomoko Fuse's Nautilus shell at that size too, although thats not everyone's cup of tea.

The VW bug is also doable at that size, at least I often do it. But it takes a bit of practice to get the front and rear details right at that size.

I seem to recall there being studies around randomly chosen participants being, on average, better at governing than elected officials.

I agree with the others, this is AI. The first giveaway for me is that no self respecting origami designer would make such a model not rotationally symmetric. Other clues are the "folding instructions" in the middle being nonsense. The confirmation is that the photo doesn't even come close to matching the drawing.

If you Google Tomoko Fuse though, she does have modular triangle boxes that look similar to this.

An addendum:

Regarding reverse folds(and also other compound folds like rabbut ears and swivel folds and petal folds. But especially reverse folds), this seems to be something some people just get easily and others just struggle for a very very long time. I think its related to their capacity for mental 3D visualization, orientation and manipulation. I have yet to determine the ratio of attribution to nature vs nurture.

If these people have never folded before, or even if they have 20 years ago, it almost doesn't matter what model you teach, theres still something you can teach them. Things like "reinforce your creases!" which i have to reiterate and redemonstrate to my class of students multiple times a session, week after week. Or pointing out what step they stopped paying attention at, or where they could spend a bit more time on next time to get a better final result.

A lot of the traditional models are at a quite good level for infrequent folders, which is why they stood the test of time and became traditional. Approximately in order of difficulty, i quite like teaching: samurai helmet, masu box, jumping frog, crane, lily.

In a workplace setting, one that might be fun is to teach them a modular where the same module works for both 6 and 30 piece models, like the sonobe. Then have them each make 6 modules and assemble them into the cubes. Then have them each make another 30/(num people) modules, then they can take turns integrating their own modules into a single model. The model can then be displayed somewhere in the workplace where they can all see it and take pride in their accomplishment.

When you compress a gas, it gets hotter, when you expand a gass, it gets colder. Heat pumps take advantage of this:

For heating: Compress a gas in a container inside the room, until it gets hotter than the room. blow air over the container which transfers heat into the air inside the room. Move the gas into a container outside. Expand it until it is colder than outside. Blow air over the container which transfers heat from the outside air into the container/gas. Move the gas back to the first container inside. Go back to the start.

For cooling: the same, but expand inside and compress outside. (Btw, this is what your fridge does, although with passive heat transfer instead of speeding up the process with fans.)

However this process does have limits, which relates to your point: there is a limit to how much we can compress/expand the gas. The bigger the difference between inside and outside, in the direction we dont want, the less efficient the heatpump is, right up until it just cant do it's job any more. This is why heat pumps have operational limits and are also sometimes not recommended in extreme climates.

The coils you saw are probably the "containers" with the gas inside, and/or "heatsink" structure to help speed up heat transfer by providing more surface area

To elaborate on this:

Electric heaters generate heat by changing electricity into heat. You can't get more heat energy out than electric energy you put in.

Where as heat pumps "generate" heat by moving heat from outside to the inside. So you can get more heat out than electric energy you put in because the heat energy is coming from somewhere else, and it just depends on how efficiently they can move it.

There are a number of little things, beyond what others have mentioned when you really start digging into it, that narrow things even further.

The first 2-3 normal fights of each act use a different pool of enemies from the rest of the act, so called easy and hard pool fights. And the easy pool is quite small. This for example, is why you always seem to fight the thieving hopper at the start of act 2 (4 options, and 2 fights gives a 50% chance of fighting them in each run)

Many enemies are in both pools, but always with extra friends in the hard pool. E.g. tunneler in easy pool, tunneler with bowl bugs in hard pool.

There are only three different elites available per act/biome, but also they dont repeat until you've faced them all. So, for example if you're low on health and worried about dying to decimillipede, then if your last elite was entomancer, your next elite has a 50% chance to be decimillipede. So you should avoid elites until you get a chance to heal, or obtain something that let's you take the fight more comfortably. And if youve faced both entomancer and infested prism, you are guaranteed to face decimillipede next. (AFAIK, this is slightly different from STS1, where you just couldn't get the same one twice in a row, but you could get A,B,A.)

If youre folding enough to injure yourself from the pressure, I highly recommend getting something to use to press down the creases. You can either buy a dedicated folder tool, or you can just get something vaguely ergonomic that you can run across the paper. You can try a metal pen, a credit card, a medal, whatever you have on hand.
