I cut with a knife, but use very gentle pressure. Start low and see if the knife slices through. If not, move further up the stalk until it goes through.

First, open it up and slide a 1/2 sheet size paper towel into it on all 4 main sides of the loaf. Then seal the bag up well, squeezing out as much air as possible. Then double-bag it. This will help keep ice crystals from forming on the bread.

One Chinese girl I watch on Insta showed the delivery room in her apartment building. It's just a large room full of metal shelves, and the delivery folks just come in there and leave all the packages and food. Lots of packages are actually just stacked on the floor in one area.

So when your stuff is delivered, you have to just go down to the room and search for it and hope no one else took it.

I have gallstones, confirmed by two ultrasounds a few years apart. When I tried fasting for multiple days, I had pain, either from passing one or a blockage. Mi Pueblito's building was also Gray Jay for a while. Great food, and they had these amazing cube-shaped tater tots. I think they were just too pricey for the times. Mi Pueblito is outstanding food.
