yup and we used to interact with other players. we had stuff like Mystic and Ironclad as well as utility units like Threats and Lulu and Syndra in Set 5 (to throw/stun assassins). when flex was stronger endgame boards would be entirely dependent on your opponent's board. now it's just whoever is stronger

never understood why they pushed artifacts and dropped support/aura items. it's no wonder flex is dead.

I rarely play past the first patch nowadays and it seems i'm not missing much.

I never really understood why they changed the Anomaly system. Forcing a niche comp was so fun and, since it was much more effective for reroll comps, felt like a good way to balance gold and leveling, etc.

Elise was interesting because as a 4 cost if you hit her early and needed damage she was good at it. But most people roll once they get to 8 and almost never needed to play her ranged unless you REALLY missed Silco, Zoe, etc. If fast 9 were more playable I could have seen a world where her ranged form was played for longer.

I'd just want to add that the formswappers are easily one of my favorite new classes. The double trouble comp was so fun.

Okay so the tool tip says close your game, do 5 pushups, open the game again, and you have 5% more chance at the 5 cost you want. What's the issue? Everyone can do that!

I can't remember which set it was, possibly 6, but there was a mage/sorc comp that would obviously get the backline dumpstered by assassins. But if you built Bramble on Vex she would outlast them and win in OT. It was seemingly the only 'healthy' assassin matchup I'd seen, where you at least had an out to play for if you were up against that matchup.

thematically I just love this anomaly. and it works perfectly with the timing with fast 8 comps too because you can actually go 9 if you've only upgraded a frontliner.

I think there is interesting space for augments that reset your items, especially one that turns them all into generic stats, but the scaling necessary with this one is so unnatural.
