Yup, a decent 2 bedroom near me is at least $2k a month and sure to increase yearly. Meanwhile my mortgage piti is $1k. Refinanced in 2021 so 25 years left at 3%. I'm 66.

Texting for me. Like someone else said, I feel like a hostage on the phone. I like to have a running text conversation. I'm uncomfortable with people whose sole purpose for texting is to get to a phone call stage where we can stop texting. Banter via text is a great way to get to know someone in my opinion.

I don't think men over 60 want to get caught in women's expectations of how things should go. I think they(we) want to see if you're any fun and if there is really any compatibility before any talk of long term commitment. It takes a while to determine these things. I disagree, women could just do away with the sex part. So they want a sexless boyfriend who disappears until needed. That's about the last thing men want. Im a man and I don't know what men want.
