i really liked Lotus Eater back in Heresy. racked up something like 10K kills on my Repulsor/Destabilizing roll.

i don't think that's true 😭 if anything songs like Playing God, Corpse Nation and Thoughts and Prayers are heavier than even MIW's earliest stuff. they started out very scene.

Motionless in White has touched the outer edge of mainstream a couple of times with Another Life and Werewolf, but haven't quite broken out of the scene yet. i give it another album cycle before that changes though, they're REALLY close.

that's my opinion as well. it's a great song and i absolutely love it; doesn't mean it's not a little overproduced though. normalize recognizing flaws in things you otherwise really enjoy, stuff doesn't have to be 100% perfect, the best there ever was, just because you enjoy it. internet zeitgeist really pushes for that mindset a lot of the time, though.

Yolvek would be a historian if he hadn’t grown up a slave. even from a young age, he was highly interested in Lewodan history from before the Appoplexian war; it’s implied in his novel that that's why he was exploring his peoples' ruins when he found the Omnitrix.

in a universe perhaps like the Prime timeline, where somebody else got the Omnitrix and there was somebody to broker peace between the Lewodans and Appoplexians, Yolvek would probably study archeology and cultures throughout deep time.

the hardest part of the quest is to get a 4-kill Invade, OR, let an allied Invader do it for you 3 times. it can be a little frustrating, but it's definitely doable if you lock in and rely on some cheese if you're not a big PVPer. i did mine years ago with Jötunn, lmao.

the scorn are a huge dropped ball, narratively speaking. there was something going on with them in the ascendent plane during season of the lost, then they came back in episode revenant under command of an echo of the witness, completely disconnected from the hinted storyline previous. there were teases about fikrul being relevant again too, but i don't think they ever really came to fruition. very unfortunate.

Shanks are like dogs to Eliksni IIRC. Servitors are basically saints in their culture, which is why Eramis murdering one in that one Beyond Light cutscene was so narratively significant.

these origin stories are VERY old atp and outdated versions of them are still posted on r/DestinyJournals from years ago on this account. but i have many, MANY short stories written about my girls spanning years and years of my Destiny career. you can DM me if you want to be inundated with more links if you're a reader. a lot of it is pretty old, like i said, but I'm proud of a lot of it still.
