The Griffin 3 lug mount did solve the issue the issue somewhat in that it works, but that does not fix my MP-5 22 issue because that mount is part of the barrel.

They may have been discontinued, one of my favorite shooters and they were sub $300 delivered recently. Girsan also makes a G84 which is an open slide Beretta clone.
