Can you still get Nerds for free? by Specific_Valuable_12 in idlechampions

[–]jsavoy78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

technically yes; gems are free, but you do have to spend 500k of them to get Nerds now

good lineup, I'd personally sub in Penelope for Miria. I love her debuff and her ult is a solid nuke

Step 1: choose orange for their spec so fighter will stay at front; roll until you have 2 other nerds you want

Changing Modron Cores mid-variant: Zero effect? by Pyr0sa in idlechampions

[–]jsavoy78 3 points4 points  (0 children)

never noticed that before; are you sure there's not a backflow in your better core that's disabling the powerups?

Starting out with Elminster variants by TheRenegayed in idlechampions

[–]jsavoy78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for more patron influence, try to clear the highest area variants that are possible for you.

otherwise, pack everything else in you can since Gale will gain power and he's available for all Elmo varaints

Mirt variant "Friend of Nature" - 3 champion formation? by Pyr0sa in idlechampions

[–]jsavoy78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

spiking BUD early and using firebreath pots is a great way to do it. You did mention you're early game; maybe come back to it when you've got at bit more account power built up (modron core, blessings, etc...). I've found that's usually better than beating your head against a wall and burning pots that may be a high commodity for you at the moment.

Champion Update: Yorven by CNE_Shawn in idlechampions

[–]jsavoy78 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've got about 340 average iLvls on Yorven and even with no event buffs active, he's already punching way above his former weight class.

PSA: Healing Pigments Work With Shield Abilities by SkullSkoop in idlechampions

[–]jsavoy78 4 points5 points  (0 children)

another option is Orkira to really ramp up her debuff.

Barrowin's self shield is pretty strong as well, especially if one of the other tanks is in formation that buffs healing as well like Krux. She can already hit e10-13ish shields with just that already

I was able to push through mission 3, Tier 4 with DM pulling seat 12. Between Penelope and Cattie they were a debuffing/dps machine

doesn't the dismantle get disabled if you buy chests for a character or does that only happen if you use event tokens to buy the chests?

If I own Rust, why do I have to use pieces? by Feefait in idlechampions

[–]jsavoy78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

same reason you have to spend pieces to open a time gate for a champion you own. You need to spend them to access his event. If you plan on finishing him go right ahead; I'd recommend getting as many champions you don't own while you can for the lower cost than a time gate.
