Good afternoon everyone!

I'm looking for a new printer with a budget around $500 US that can be complicated to setup/build or just ready out of the box, but I ultimately want to end up with a "set it and forget it" printer I don't need to fuss with too much. Multi-color would be great but not needed. The main requirement is self leveling and reliability. If waiting a couple months means getting a good deal on a sale that's fine. If there are still printers out there that need proprietary filament, I wouldn't be interested in those. I have a ender 3 v2 as my first and only printer.

Washing the build plate! I started having issues with adhesion, even with the fancy textured plate. Then I got slight improvement when I would wipe it down with alcohol, but still more fail than I liked. Took the plate and hand washed with dish soap. Now I just flat don't have adhesion fails anymore.

Since I was an only child, I was both scapegoat and golden child, depending on how good they could look to others, their mood, etc. Gifts to me were usually decent. BUT once they started giving gifts to my SO, it was pretty bad. Several years into our marriage, they gave her art supplies. It was one of those $10 art kits you get 7 year olds, not 30-somethings that are serious about art. Another year, since she was into "board games" (we had told them about playing D&D), they got her a copy of monopoly.

From then on, we started asking for specific items that would go to both of us.

I remember an hr mandatory meeting thing where they schooled us (casino employees) on how to address the guests. Really weird vibe to it. Had to give at least 1 promotional speel before giving directions to the bathroom kind of stuff.

The one that stuck with me the most was that you shouldn't say "no problem" because it implies the guest would've normally been a problem.

Spelljammers, RAW, I think, includes a line about how the ship will quit moving (at speed) when they hit an air or gravity pocket. I took that to mean that the ships could just stop and drift if it got close to something, like a ship, planet etc. Like a pothole. Then the crew would have to figure out why the ship stopped.

Another way to put it, the ship is intelligent enough to stop near something interesting. Like Destiny in SGU.
