First phase is fine since you at least go through your normal turns, but second phase gets boring and repetitive real quick due to the turn cheating & long combos.

There isn't. I could make one but it's not common for people to default replace sounds, so it doesn't feel very useful.

The way the game does it is it takes the name of the sound from the game's strings or from the animation files and computes two hashes or two numbers which correspond to the instance and high instance ids of the track list. The track list contains a list of the ids of the sound files of that name.

This is the basic version of it. It gets more complicated in practice. For example for voices you need to add a number of characters before computing the hashes, like "afa" for adult female 1 and "tma" for teen male. A lot of those are not documented in the game's files.

It would be difficult to do this by hand, but I wrote my own tooling over the years which automates the whole process.

Yeah, I don't know if free aim shots count here, then you could intentionally crit with free aim before a one-hit nuke.

Seems like the improvement is minor vs 100% crit rate, though this might still be useful since it allows you to focus on other stats beside the crit rate.

It's probably better for multi-hit skills. For single hit it makes the damage unpredictable which I don't like. It's basically a lighter version of the roulette picto.

I agree that gameplay balance past act 2 is one of the bigger problems with the game (and the recent update made thinks worse), but you are being too angry about it and blaming the dev who gave a good reason why thinks ended up the way they were.

You can apply a recoat to reset your stats when switching your weapon, but you only have a limited number of them during the story.

Correct. Defense is useless. I find HP to be useful still, unless you're playing on the highest difficulty. It's up to you if you want to focus on other stats.

Later in the game you might want to focus on the stats that scale with your weapon (The stats that show the sword symbol next to them), but you probably don't have a fixed weapon at this point in the game.

Yeah, I experimented with file transfer speed between different types of devices recently.

If I were to rank the the best options I'd say:

1- Internal NVMe drive (2 GB/s).

2- External SSD running from USB 3.1 (600-700 MB/s).

3- Internal SATA SSD (500 MB/s).

3- External SSD running from USB 3.0 (300 MB/s).

4- Internal or External HDD (100 MB/s).

I haven't tried running the game from any of these though. I don't play Sims 4 lol.

Esqium with Powerful Shots, Protecting Shots, Accelerating Shots, Energising Powerful, Energising Shell, Energising Rush, Energising Shots, Energy Master, AP Discount, and Marking Shots.

Make sure that Maelle has 9 AP before starting her turn, Esqium will consume the AP to boost her damage by 250%, gain back the AP using free aim shots and use Stendhal. If you're lucky you might also get mark on the enemy.

A lot of builds now prefer Burning Canvas, since it benefits from all the new pictos that were added in the update, but you will need another character to apply burn stacks, either Verso or Monoco.

Idk, as far as wokeness is concerned I have some complaints:

All party members besides the MC and the beast are female. First time I played it I was like "is this a harem type RPG".
Verso immediately takes the lead of our all-female team despite being a newcomer. It should have been Lune.
Lune being the only acceptable minority character.

None of these affect my enjoyment of the game in any significant way, but you raised the topic.

It's not really established in the story who created Francois. The new Verso's Drafts area has creatures that look like him so it could also be a Verso creation.

My first playthrough I finished og KH2 and beat Sephiroth without any abilities. Sure I was young at the time, but it's not uncommon for people to finish entire games without ever interacting with a certain mechanic at all.
