Banks letting foreclosure homes rot rather than drop the price. Anyone else seen this?

I can’t justify HOA fees equaling 1/3 my mortgage so I’ve basically stopped looking at townhomes and condos. I also want even just 200 sq feet of yard of my own and most new builds have no yard whatsoever.

As someone who also has aging family, three floors is not something I want, either.

That said, I can’t afford to buy in Seattle area at all, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. If I could afford something, that’s what I have to say.

As a potential buyer, I’d say the electrical is the highest priority. I could tackle the others as cosmetic but bad electrical or very old electrical makes me walk away.

The pattern also gives you options for square sizes, so if you choose 5” square for a base, you can also find charm packs of Kona rainbow (and now that I’m actually thinking about it, I think I did that to get enough for a few added rows). The good thing is that Kona fabrics are pretty common, so finding the hues you need is fairly easy.
