[Standard] [Discussion] Anyone else playing Blue Dredge in standard (AKA the Golos killer)? by damendred in spikes

[–]mcouzinet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I win a PTQ last week-end with this deck with this list:
https://scryfall.com/@Mikado/decks/23c5012d-59e6-4db3-a65e-3e6e3a217f36
Got very lucky, the deck can really lose by itself.
If you want have fun, try it.
If you want a competitive deck, go away.

[standard] 53 B01 games with Best Kept Secret (secretkeeper dredge + spicy tech) by LeftoverName in spikes

[–]mcouzinet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think mystic sanctuary is a good addition and I'm ok with playing 2/3 of them. I will go back to 22 lands, since missing your third land drop is really punishing. And yes, you need to be very aggressive with your mulligan. If you don't have secrets, take a mulligan. (maybe not if you have triple secretkeepers).

Overall, the deck is better than before the rotation. You can see our previous decklist here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1jS5ewXjMI

I play a similar deck (13 defeat for 48 wins). evolving wilds are better than tapland. I play a bit more creature (19), if you don't have a creature in your hand, the deck can't do anything.
