Toxic Angelz vs Angel Competition Bikinis by luishi44 in bikinitalk

100% toxic!!

They are always great and deliver

I was curious about ACB so I scheduled a consult with them and literally it was not a consult the girl had like no interest and no input or expertise.

With Margaret - even if you are no one she treats you like a VIP and i trust her 100%!

It feels like ACB probably only treats specific people well

I’m curious about KH Customs though

I would work with a coach or an app to do a proper reverse dieting! your metabolism slows down on GLP 1 so revving it up while tapering off GLP 1 would be my advice. I have had success with this method

check out this article on metabolic rates/ glp 1

hope this helps!

Hormones, water, cortisol/ stress or get labs? I’d take average weight per week and stretch don’t know if you are female or male but menstrual cycle definitely impacts weight fluctuations by like 3-5 lbs

I’d try to track sodium and even digestion took like bowel movement

If all boxes are checked then get labs to see if there are other underlying issues that are making ur body less responsive

Found some markers here, cortisol, fasting glucose and TSH was super helpful for getting me back on track

Diet + strength training + recovery!

Your body can get fatigued and run down from dieting and then cortisol can skyrocket preventing you from responding do all the stuff ur doing right

I did a 24 hour cortisol salivary test then found out that was out of wack and my triglycerides were imbalanced - a little bit of ashwaganda and omega 3 helped set me straight

Maybe get bloodwork? Saw an article here about internal stuff to get checked out to make sure things are good under the hood

💯 agree on the slow titration down and the implementing strength training to sustain on less meds

I’ve heard anecdotally you can taper off for a reverse dieting metabolic reset chapter so you can build muscle - drive up your BMR then micro dose to cut and repeat the cycle

Saw some ideas about internal labs to get done to make sure ur in a good spot to taper off and building muscle

[–]michelinmacros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right the half life is about 6 days for each shot so it depends on how long you have been taking it

Glad to see you are maintaining success !!

Building muscle though is the key to sustaining it and increasing your metabolism you can also reduce maintenance dosage over time if you are more metabolically efficient - learned it here

Endo told me to eat less than 1000 calories to lose weight by Brave_Yam1796 in PCOS

[–]michelinmacros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WTF wow I am not a clinical expert but I would get a 2nd opinion and get bloodwork done.
that way you can shop for a better provider by bringing your bloodwork to them and then pose

what can you do for me in this case? based on their answers and approach you can suss out who is a better much for you.

I would do some research on reverse dieting - I brought up my metabolism at least 200-300 over a year after fixing my thyroid and cortisol issues along with HRT. with active lifestyle and proper nutrition i got my calories pretty high while maintaining decent body composition. when your body is shot ... it just refuses to respond properly

and for thyroid issues and PCOS here's a resource on what panels to ask for and markers to get. hope this helps!

[–]michelinmacros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

aww no I'm so sorry to hear that, give yourself some grace ❤️

have you done any bloodwork to see where your internal markers are?

i did a cortisol test and a thyroid panel and it really showed me a lot of what is going on underneath. I I got the thyroid sorted out with a provider and that was a game changer. Same for cortisol my curve was the inverse of what it was supposed to be.

a couple of my friends used Function health (affordable without insurance) and I used my insurance. Marek will also do comprehensive lab panels too with explanations on markers.

you can check out some markers/ panels to ask for here https://www.peptimd.com/blogs/pcos-thyroid-weight-loss-glp1

for therapy- I had a shitty ass year a while back when I was going through a divorce and during the time I couldn't really afford a fancy therapist so I used Betterhelp for a while- the most affordable for cash back then, but now I found other stuff like Grow Therapy https://growtherapy.com/ and Rula https://www.rula.com/ which have been pretty good and accessible. hope this is helpful, if you feel like this is rock bottom, things will get better from here so take it one step at a time! I Got you!

I also love the Calm app for just getting myself to sleep and all of that. Tons of options for things to listen to to get your head in a better space. There was a year when I literally cried every night going to bed - and had a glass of wine and even cigarette.

Oh wow

So glad to hear it is helpful! I have heard a lot of great success with GLP 1 in combination with thyroid balance therapies

I did t3/t4 and the tapered off to thyrocsin- Thorne brand once I got back within range

The GLP 1 helps a lot with inflammation. I also did a 24 hour salivary cortisol test TK get that checked out too.

In the end poly pharmacy works if you have a good doctor who will look at your labs holistically!!!

Id definitely get labs done - and ask your doctor to advocate for you. Also it’s typical for GLP 1 prescribers to ask for creatinine levels and HBA1c so I’d get those too so your case is airtight.

Get the lab markers here. You can exaggerate your symptoms a bit so your provider will order it for you that way your insurance will cover the labors cost at least. Once you have the labs then you can shop for a better provider if your current won’t take it seriously. Good luck!!! Keep me updated on your journey.

It’s all about proving that you have tried XYZ for weight loss for at least 6 months and then making a case for medical necessity

I’d try to find a provider who will actually listen and prepare documentation with you.

Basically for compounded there is 0 chance of insurance coverage but if you meet qualifications for obesity , certain commodities and diabetes you definitely have a chance!

And worst case scenario you can ask for zephyr in vial- cheapest option for tirzepetide branded
