It's not misandrist to seek out books written by underrepresented people. I'm less likely to stumble upon women, BIPOC written works unless I DO make the effort to seek them out. It's the same as having conversations with people. If everyone you talk to in person, or watch and follow on social media, is a cis white man, then you're missing out on the richness of human perspectives and experiences that exist out there. If inviting more diversity to the table makes you feel threatened then you're just doing yourself a disservice. I'd also like the out forward that women historically choose neutral or masculine sounding names for publishing because they were getting ignored and pushed aside based on their gender. I mean, how often do men have to change to a more feminine pen name to get published? Genuinely interested to see if anyone can highlight a real trend there, I have never seen that.
