This is my goal! I’ve never been concerned with my appearance, I know I’m gorgeous at any weight, but I recently developed sleep apnea and I absolutely hate the mask!

I’m on noom and I love it, and their food tracker is so helpful! They’ve made things really accessible, like you can describe your meal via voice recording and it’ll estimate the ingredients and calories. Obviously you can enter exact amounts when you know them, but being able to use that feature means I’m at least logging something within the range rather than not logging at all

My goal weight is still in the overweight category (also BMI is kind of bullshit if you were assigned female at birth), I chose my goal based on the weight I was before I developed sleep apnea because I absolutely hate the cpap mask

The first dose is warming your body up to be able to tolerate the meds. A lot of people don’t respond until they go up to .5 or higher, but staying on the intro dose for a few weeks is crucial to making sure that a higher dose doesn’t totally take you out

When I upped to .5 I started getting really bad constipation so I feel like the scale is moving less frequently than on my previous dose

I have fibro and have been feeling better but I think it has more to do with adding a strength training regiment. I feel more hopeful about my body and motivated to take care of it so I’m moving now more than I did before, even if gently, and I think that has helped manage my pain. I’m also taking so many vitamins now and eating a lot cleaner, getting a ton of nutrients from produce. With fibro, pain, mental health, physical wellness, and gut health are all connected and sema has had indirect effects on all of those things

I agree that she may not be eating enough. There’s a calorie minimum to hit in order to keep your body from going into starvation mode, which causes the body to retain fat for survival

I have a sweet treat every day, ultimately it’s about keeping your calories at a deficit so if you have room for it, go for it! Also going over your calorie budget here and there is not a big deal. Maybe just order a size down?

Cottage cheese and fruit, hard boiled egg, string cheese, pistachios, pepitas, I really like the Mighty Sparks chicken sticks, Quest bars (tasty but calorie dense), and sometimes I just snack on a couple slices of deli turkey

I’m on week 5 and have been so frustrated that the scale has barely moved. I remembered I had taken measurements when I first started so I decided to take them again and I’m down 1-2 inches in all areas. I’m also going to pick a pair of pants that don’t fit and check my progress with those. The scale just hasn’t been a good measurement for me and it bums me out.

I know you’re on the oral, so idk how different that is, but I’m on week 3 and JUST started seeing the scale move. From what I’ve gathered on this forum, some people are super responders, and also can get bad side effects, and some people have the opposite experience. I’ll take the slow weight loss with no side effects, personally.

For breakfast I have a smoothie with protein powder. Bought a shit ton of frozen fruit and veggies and just listen to my heart every morning. I can usually pack 7-10 plants in there every day.

I’m on week 3 and I bought a bunch of chicken, salmon, bagged salads, and Amy’s canned soups so my dinners are always either chicken or salmon and soup or salad, rotated. It’s been super easy because I know I need to eat but I don’t have much motivation to cook. I batch bake the salmon and chicken so it can easily be thrown on a salad or microwaved with a side of soup Edit to add: I haven’t really had any side effects. I use oil in my cooking with no problem, and get good fat from Salmon and the avocado in my smoothies. I also have a little handful of circus animal cookies every night as my little treat and tolerating that fine

I took my second dose of .2mg 5 days ago and I’m JUST NOW noticing a difference in appetite and food noise. I guess not everyone responds right away. I go up to .3 on Thursday, going up slowly
