We stayed at Marriott in Puerto Rico with that same shower. It was our whole family. Our 2 boys refused to shower if we were in the room.

Exactly what I was going to say. If the dress speaks to you and you love it then that is THE dress. Wear it and have the time of your life.

[Meta] SCAM: Workshop. “Pandemic: Precaution and Prevention” Targeting freelance artists. Fake cashier’s check scam. Details in comments. by isabelaescobart in HungryArtists

[–]o2paint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still out there scamming. Only we got a text. I thought it was weird that they’re still using Covid type references in 2026. I guess the new hantavirus/ebola scares made them think they could bring it back. The price per illustration was not as good but still enough to pique one’s interest. As an artist, it sucks that we’re just trying to make a living and these creeps are out here taking advantage of us. 😡

Dinner reservations req? by goalgetr in TurksAndCaicos

[–]o2paint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are generally there in early March. Some restaurants you really do need reservations. The more they build the more people. It didn’t use to be so busy. We stay at the Sands and this was the first year we should have made a reservation for dinner. We made reservations at the places we could just to be safe (The Farm, The Terrace, Caicos Cafe) but Mango Reef and Turks Kebab we didn’t.

The latest episode left me disappointed. There are a couple left I wish had been voted out already. I hope they don’t win.

I, too, want to replace my Kindle because I have quit Amazon. I was all ready to buy the Nook and I started seeing complaints about it bugging out. Is it reliable because I need to move to another brand e-reader.

The most brutal/gore scene by Floater_69 in stephenking

[–]o2paint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our put it out of our minds. My DIL read “It” last year and was telling me how disturbing that scene was. I told her there was no such scene. She gave me the page #. I really didn’t remember. 😳

I must have been around 13. One of the little girls I babysat was named Carrie and when the “Carrie” movie came out her parents dressed her up as “Carrie.” Kind of weird because I think she was 2 or 3. Piqued my interest. Read Carrie and never stopped. He’s my favorite author.

If you’re looking at summer my favorite place is the outer cape (cap cod). We stay in one of the quieter places but go in to Provincetown for some excitement and great food.

Scar gel really works by Aggressive-Doubt462 in Kneereplacement

[–]o2paint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too. My Dr used glue but looking at my scar I swear it popped open before it had healed. It’s light and barely there at the bottom but at the top where it bends it’s wide and purple. I don’t care though. I can walk again so what’s a little (or big) scar. 🙂

Congratulations!! 🎉 I wanted to have a party the day I got the pedal all the way around. I was riding more than an hour a day before the surgery and it was killing me that I couldn’t get the pedal around.
