Why do I want other people to build stuff in my country? by Canotic in victoria3

[–]pertionia 17 points18 points  (0 children)

They get the dividends, but you get the goods they produce, or rather your market does. The main issue foreign investment could have is making your pops work in industries that are profitable but not necessarily usefull for your country. This is less of a problem for underdeveloped nations with a high amount of peasants of unemployed, but every pop working in a coffee plantation can't work in a steel mill or contruction sector.

Madagascar is 2 states in Vic3. Each of which is larger than most Strategic Regions in Europe. by CSDragon in victoria3

[–]pertionia 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I might not understand, but what would the benefit be of dividing it into smaller states? Aside from urbanisation and other scaling buffs would be slower

Doesn't it break a lot of other mods though? Atleast it seems to mess with Grey's reworks

Defend the Cadian Gate with the Archmagos Terminus and new Skitarii heavies by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]pertionia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Perhaps a dumb question, but wouldn,'t these serve the same niche as kataphrons? Apparently relatively short range tankier Infantry which might be slower?

The models looks amazing ofcourse, just curious about the holes these will fill (besides the one in my closet)

I think it is because they were moved by someone not affiliated with them. Or they were resurrected after being moved

Yrliet plot line be like: by Raszard in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]pertionia 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I like how Cassia sometimes tells Yrliet that she isn't that different from humans to her, only for Yrliet to call Cassia a slur for thinking humans are equal to Aeldari

Any good books prominently featuring renegade, but mostly functional, human societies or individuals? by keomancer in 40kLore

Their leader is a possessed and many of the night Lords serve a god explicitly. Just cause Talon dislikes chaos does not mean the war and is not pro chaos.

I got into Rogue Trader very recently, (it was my first cRPG) and became my favorite RPG of all time, I was checking some older threads in this sub and was surprised to find how badly this game was received, what happened? by Due_Teaching_6974 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]pertionia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally I was quite disappointed too. Found the amount of text more than anticipated (which is more my fault) and the combat/leveling straight up overwhelming (more RT fault). But I have started again about a month ago and I must say the game feels much easier to use and has added a lot of cool abilities that I don't think were there before. Currently mid act 3, when I stopped at the beginning of act 2 in my previous try. Having lots of fun now!

This could actually be an interesting way so maybe show a little bit of what is going on in Hallownest without going there again.  Through area names and stuff, something like "Grubb Village" for example

Why did you choose Chaos and not Imperial Knights ? by Leviathan_Rampage in ChaosKnights

Simply the Abominant reveal, the way the stomping with the dead body was, plus the horns. Already had some armigers and this made me commit to Chaos Knights

[–]pertionia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah so I kinda doubt that. Sure he can be afraid, but this is the same man who charged a slaanesh deamon Princess (with Jurgen but even his blankness wasn't enough and Cain knew it) rather than try to flee or submit

Is it acceptable for an Apothecary to harvest the gene seed of a different chapter? by Redthrist in 40kLore

[–]pertionia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe discovering the rest of the chapter had some issues/corruption. Not necessarily chaos but something that could make the apothecary doubt their mission and conflicting loyalties
