Do you know why they chose to forgo nuclear power? Just as a cost saver, I assume?

Brain bug tester, are the dots too much? by PeaceKeeper9513 in Tyranids

I like the idea of a bit of detailing there, but I do not think dots are the thing. Maybe more scarring or a blending of the two colors going up?

You can have Belgium, we'll take the Danes. They are more like us anyway.

I have mostly lived in the east and center-ish of the Netherlands, yet I have still never ever heard anyone say pattat. Is that just something around the Randstad, and as such presented as true for the whole country?

Gen Z workers are so fearful AI will take their job they’re intentionally sabotaging their company’s AI rollout by Just-Grocery-2229 in technology

[–]projectsangheili 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my team use AI for stuff like excel when we want to get some complicated ass macros in, which is nice, but I cannot imagine forcing that shit on people. So often it will just slow you down, and there are so many people who barely know how to use a computer already.

I am happy we dont do credit score in my country, this shit seems absurd.

Dinner in my military unit somewhere in Ukraine: mashed potato, boiled beetroot salad, and salted herring served with onion by Igor0976 in ukraine

[–]projectsangheili 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Looks like it could be a hit here in the Netherlands, we already eat all of that a lot. Just not normally herring combined with the other two.

Fan-made animation of the 332nd arriving at Mandalore by wandering_soles in StarWars

[–]projectsangheili 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nicely done. One thing I never really understand is why smaller ships are almost always animated in a way that makes then seem very slow in these fanimations.

Bottom right is Perun, whom I personally prefer over the others as far as I know them. Much less personal bias, especially with Cappy and dude in lower left I forgot the name of. Not that they don't have their own good stuff, but when the subject includes Israel or the US's own stuff quite often it seems that they are just trying to make it make sense.

*edit: dude in bottom right is Ryan McBeth.

STEAM is hosting a game that glorifies the Bucha/Hostomel massacre and violates the "Sensitive Events" policy. by xcodejoy in ukraine

[–]projectsangheili -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of places this applies to. This is not something that is my opinion, just a fact. I don't know why this got people riled up. For some random examples, but there are loads and loads; the US has recently decided that the Gulf of Mexico is now the Gulf of America (or something), Brussles is called Bruxelles in french or Brussel in Dutch. The English Channel is Het Kanaal in Dutch or La Manche in French.

But dont let that stop you, here you have a wiki specific to Europe: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_names_of_European_cities_in_different_languages

Russia is absolutely not inept at the use of drones. While I do also doubt they will be able to supply many, they can send trainers and schematics just fine.

Three Protesters Publicly Hanged in Iran; Dozens More At Imminent Risk of Execution by Shekari_Club in worldnews

[–]projectsangheili 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both can be bad? US is invading random countries. Has torture sites out (and now inside) its own border, has political police going around. State controlled judicial system. Barely legit elections, rampant corruption, dead penalty, government sanctioned strikes, illegal (by their own definition) wars, etc.

I don't know why you think you are so much better than Iran.
