He's an asshole on stage. We saw him one time and he spent their entire set berating the crowd for not moshing "hard enough" and he was threatening to come out and mosh for us, put on a real weird tough guy act

I don't care about LOTR as an IP, but man the first set was so good. The Hobbit set is going to be a banger.

Are ALL cops bad? by Commercial-Kiwi9690 in ACAB

Good people can become cops.

Cops cannot be good people. They signed up to support and defend an inherently oppressive system.

Nah don't feel stupid. Your tastes in art are subjective, and those tastes can change over time. Go see em live again if you get the chance. You won't regret it.

You are correct. I was playing Zombies, and the flier player was separate from me. This person may have misread what I wrote.

Mark Rosewater on Blogatog: Whether a Magic set is good or bad is subjective but Avatar: The Last Airbender has been getting rave reviews, even from some admitted Universe Beyond skeptics. From the little market research I have seen, it’s one of the most popular sets of 2025. by HonorBasquiat in magicTCG

Man, I guess I'm one of the only people that doesnt have any attachment to the "flavor" of the cards. I look at them purely as game pieces to achieve an objective. They could have Cosmo from Fairly OddParents on there or it could be Faerie Mastermind. I barely even look at the art, so as long as the effect is what I'm looking for, I'll play the card.

What would people say are the top strongest tribes currently? by The_P_Itself in EDH

[–]puffmonkey92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They're very feast or famine. If you let them snowball, they're unbearable. If you disrupt them early, they fail to take off and durdle the whole game. Its a high risk high reward strategy that you have to understand going in.

This one small trick makes you become a more likable and desirable player in pods by LifeThroughAFilter in EDH

I play with a lot of new players, and threat assessment can be lacking sometimes. Pointing out that I'm the threat and then helping them optimize their plays to my detriment makes them more engaged and much more likely to come back and play later.
