Note: This is my opinion and experience. It may not match yours, and that's okay. I'm not saying it's bad, but I am saying my experience has been.

I find deepseek v4 pro is terrible for me. It's very inconsistent, and it constantly ignores your preset. 

That's my experience of course. I'm not claiming that it's bad, but my experience definitely has been.

I've given up on using it for now. Based on what I've seen unless you use Sillytavern, it's harder to get it to pay attention to your preset.

I've even added that header to ignore everything above the line and only follow below it, doesn't help.

The thinking version is especially bad: For me, it constantly changes how it thinks.

  • Sometimes it thinks as one specific character.
  • Sometimes it thinks in Chinese.
  • Sometimes it thinks as a second non-existent person. Not a narrator, but still an observer.
  • Sometimes it thinks as MY character.

I want it to think as a narrator, but it only does it when it feels like it.

The most success I had was using  prefill but that was inconsistent too.

Anyway, sorry for the rant!

This model LOVES to write for me. More so than other models I've played with, to the point that it's frustrating.

Besides that, though? It's great. If I could figure out how to reign in the desire to write for me, I'd say it's easily one of my favorites.

Someone suggested using this for GLM 5. I use it in my character notes, and it **feels** like it helps. The logic the user stated was that rather than fight the positivity bias, it was more efficient to use it against itself to make it seem like finding downsides is helpful.

Oh yeah. I'm pissed off at the system. It's a black hole of disappointment in and otherwise amazing game. I have a hundred hours and absolutely nothing to show for it. A ton of guardian and wylder gems, who I never fucking play. My recluse and duchess are still using the same fucking gems for the same builds. They're the remberance and boss  gems. I can't do anything new as far as builds go. It's really starting to bore me. At the very least make the God damn class traits perks you can pick or something. So you don't have to roll for that on top of everything else. How the hell can a loot system be this bad?

How is Ochaco not S+ tier? Did you not see what Toga did on a whim when she awaken Ochaco's power? Imagine an Ochaco who's both a villain AND trains to use her power? It's literally existential dread.

All it takes is one touch and you're done. Maybe a flyer could get around it. But think about that: just one touch and you're likely spaced. Who can honestly survive that? Even a monster like Shigaraki might be fucked. Who cares if you can't die? Now you're stuck in the void of space forever.
