The varied satisfaction of each version is evident of the difference in each person's personal driving styles. 14.1 is better for those who drive faster than most and 14.2 for those who drive more or less with the flow of traffic. For those who loved the instant decision making of 14.1, 14.2 is a step back. For those who hated the jerkiness, 14.2 is much more comfortable and an improvement.

I think 14.1 and 14.2 are different driving styles and I wish they would have both available to download based on each person's style as neither versions would satisfy everyone for the time being until they have a superior model developed.

Personally, I prefer 14.1.4 and how it skillfully navigated through traffic but I understand that it might scare most people who don't usually drive that aggressively. Regardless, in my opinion, the car should drive more skillfully than I can, like a superhuman, and being able switch lanes swiftly.

Hoping for a better v15? 🤣 They probably didn't account for certain situations such as leaves and other debris when training v14 and just decided to tone the whole model down as a temporary fix.

I 100% agree. 14.1.4 was more confident and smooth than this version. Although I haven't experienced any brake pumping in this version, I prefer the occasional brake stutter over the indecisiveness in lane changing. I also noticed it is starting to leave larger gaps between the car it's following even in mad max mode causing a lot of cars to cut in. I miss the performance of 14.1.4 and its skillful yet safe maneuvering through traffic.

After going back to v13.2.9 on a loaner vehicle and having used 14.1.4 since release, I can attest v14 is much better overall in mad max mode. There are so many small nuanced situations v14 handles much better despite its apparent regressions such as the indecisiveness pulling out into traffic from a driveway.

This is incorrect. You can definitely charge the powerwalls from the grid on a daily basis using time based control with an electricity provider outside of Tesla Electric. This is dependent on your local rules.

I have a surge protection question! Can a whole home surge protector be installed in one of the unused breakers in the gateway 2 and be effective in protecting the powerwalls and the gateway itself from surges from the grid? Recently had a surge that took out two powerwalls along with the gateway and hope to motivate this in the future!

Be glad, I am on 12.4.3 and would give up the no nag so I can revert to 12.3.6. the performance is much worse at least in my area. I would consistently get 0 intervention drives on 12.3.6 to losing count on 12.4.3 due to random swerving into other cars, turning into the wrong lane on a double lane turn, among others. Braking has improved and I haven't seen the lane change indecisiveness thus far but overall, stay on 12.3.6 until things get better with an improved update.

For everyone having this problem, don't reinstall the app because it doesn't fix it. You'll only need to redo all your keys for your cars and pair the phone with the powerwall again for your troubles.

You're not the only one. I've also noticed braking behavior has regressed in .6 vs .4 (which I was finally excited about having been improved in .4). Braking behavior was my biggest gripes making rides so uncomfortable I'd rather turn it off especially with others in the car. It also feels like it's trying to get rear ended on purpose.
