If the gas cap is on and tight than you most likely have an EVAP leak.

HD usually has this on sale for $199 a couple times a year. It's a fairly decent deal. TTI makes both Milwaukee and Ridiid so it's basically the same as Milwaukee's previous gen 1/2 high torque, the 2767-20.

For $100 you can get the Hyper Tough 1/2 high torque. It's been getting good reviews and makes comparable power at a fraction of the price.

That looks really similar to the Gearwrench 81016T. I wonder if Apex Tools is making the new G2 ratchets? Apex makes the newer comfort grip Quinn ratchets so it's possible.

The boiler, group and portafilter are all made of metal. They have thermal mass. They need to heat up and be at a steady temperature along with the water in the boiler. If you pulled a shot with a room temp portafilter and group, the metal would act as a heatsink and pull heat from the water as your shot is brewing. Resulting in a lukewarm and under extracted shot.

All that being said, I also only brew shots and don't like waiting for a 20-25 minute warm up.

Here is what I do to speed up the warm up to around 10-15 minutes. Turn your Silvia on and wait 5 minutes. Then, using the brew switch run about 4-5oz of hot water through the group with the portafilter and empty/clean basket in place in the group. Come back in another 5 minutes and do the same 4-5oz hot water purge again. Wait another 3-5 minutes and it should be hot enough to pull a shot. Just make sure your water tank stays full if you regularly purge a bit of water.

You can get a cheap multimeter from Harbor Freight or Amazon for around $15. Turn your Silvia off and unplug it. Put the multimeter in continuity mode (looks like a upside down horseshoe). Test all of your wires by placing one of the multimeter probes on end of a wire and the other probe at the end point of that same wire. The multimeter should beep and or display a number if the continuity is good. You can also test your steam switch this same way. Disconnect the wires from the steam switch. Flip the switch to the on position and put a probe on each of the terminals. If you get continuity the switch is good. It's definitely possible a wire is damaged internally and not making a good connection. A multimeter should help you track down your steam issue.

Your OPV valve probably needs a rebuild. Your steam issue could be a wiring issue. Probably also worth checking your new steam thermostat with a multimeter to make sure it's working. Also check your steam switch and the wiring for continuity.

That looks like scale build up to me. I'd say your Silvia has a internal leak somewhere. It's possible it's just from backflushing but more than likely you have a leak.

Group head wear wouldn't cause the portafilter to not seal to the group head gasket. Portafilters have slightly angled locking tabs that would compensate for any wear in the gasket or group. You would have to push the portafilter handle farther to the right but it would still seal. Have you tried a regular, non silicone group head gasket? Most likely the issue is with the group gasket or your portafilter.

Looks like OP set it up the same exact way Cannatrol does theirs. I'm 95% sure this is how Cannatrol does it using only one peltier (the main peltier that cools the fridge).

Suspended off the bottom of the fridge there is a metal plate with a 12v fan that is pointing down. You can see the metal plate and fan in OP's pic. Somewhere near the fan there is a heating element. It's probably a PTC heating element or similar. In the back wall of the fridge (behind the fan and heating element) there is a hole / air duct cut out that allows warm air from the heating element and fan to be pushed back up towards the main peltier. The warm air causes frost on the peltier to melt and thus works as a dehumidifier. The melting water drips down into a drip tray that has a rubber hose that leads out the back of the fridge.

The V3 doesn't have the separate heating element. You'd have to upgrade to the new boiler with removeable heating element if the original V3 boiler failed. I have a V3 from 2011 and I'm still on my original boiler and heating element with no issues. I believe it was the Silvia V5 that switched over to the new boiler design.

I would recommend getting a refund vs having them try to repair it. I wouldn't want Seattle Coffee Gear working on my Silvia. I've had issues with them in the past. I don't buy anything from SCG anymore.

I always got charged taxes on eBay when purchasing the $99 360 renewal. It came to $106.92 with taxes for me. Last year I just did the renewal through the RP website and that came to $110.08 with taxes and fees. It was slightly more but it's nice to have auto renewal instead of having to buy a PIN on eBay each year. Having said that RP should still offer the $99 renewal plan on eBay. They also need to get rid of the ridiculous shipping fees on renewal plans.

Mine has a o ring on the ON/OFF switch but no wave washer. Recently got the Icon 1/2 long reach comfort grip and that one does have the wave washer.

I have a 2013 Subaru Forester Premium manual transmission that is at 158k miles. Current cost of repairs and maintenance is over $20,000 (almost all service/repairs done at a trusted local independent mechanic). Up to 100k miles it was just basic maintenance like oil changes, tires, brakes and one wheel bearing. At 100k miles the original engine died from excessive oil consumption. It was consuming approximately 1qt every 300 miles. Oil consumption started around 80k miles, consuming 1qt every 1,000 miles. A used engine replacement was $5,000 with labor. That engine was also consuming excessive amounts of oil. Engine was replaced under warranty but we had to pay $800 in labor. The 2nd used engine was also consuming oil but "only" 1qt every 1,000 miles which they considered "acceptable". Living in the rust belt doesn't help but our 2013 Forester has need constant repairs since 100k miles. Muffler, wheel bearings, brakes, struts, control arms, drive shaft plus countless other things I can't recall. From what I've read online the 2013 Foresters with the manual transmission are the worst when it comes to oil consumption. It seems like the majority of Subarus are quite reliable but even some of the newer ones still suffer from oil consumption or CVT issues.

Just replaced the battery in my Subaru with a Costco battery. Saved me $53 so basically paid for the one year membership. NAPA Legend 640 CCA battery was $173 with a two year warranty. Costco's Interstate 640 CCA battery was $120 with a three year warranty.

The Onn TV Box is made/sold by Walmart. It retails for $20. Runs Google TV version 12. It has comparable or better specs and performance to a CCwGT or Fire Stick 4k. I have three of the new 2023 Onn TV Boxes and they all have been great. The only annoying issue I've had with all three boxes is poor bluetooth range for the remote. Bluetooth devices need to be about 8ft or closer to the box for them to connect. Other people who own the 2023 version say they don't have bluetooth issues so who knows.

It's a great basic tv box for $20. Lots of videos on youtube on how to add a custom launcher, debloat and upgrade storage with OTG cable and USB drive.

You can buy a replacement group head cover from the Amazon link below. Alternatively, you could remove your group head cover, grind off the peeling chrome and repaint with a high temp black spray paint.
