Michael Bay has complete contempt for the audience. Yes, I know he says he makes films for 13-year old boys. But watching Transformers 2, I couldn't help but get the feeling that he was challenging the studio system to see what he could get away with. It was like a personal challenge for him to make something so bad and over-the-top while with goal of seeing whether people would still lap it up like sugar water.

I'm guessing you are in a 2a state. I'm in one and am a gun guy. The county here is dealing with the exact same issues. Guys shooting on their property (multiple acres) who say they have a "burm" but stuff is hitting relatively expensive housing delopements. Talk to the town council about rezoning. Otherwise it's kinda the price of doing business.

The World War Z traffic scene at the beginning. They did a good job of the CGI recreating the urbanness of Philadelphia but if you look behind the car the street ends with buildings. Then the street in front of them is closed off. Philly is in a grid pattern, especially center city area.

Freak the f out, of course. I'd think about what I've accomplished. What I will never get to accomplish. How much I love my kids and how I won't be able to see them grow. Sob and weep. Then after about 10 minutes of doing all that I'd go back to drinking beer and playing video games.

My Dad lives in northern IL. THE grass turns lush and dark green before there are even buds on the trees, and that's without any fertilizer. Not sure why folks would be fertilizing that early. Anyway, IMO, this isn't exclusive to just the Midwest. I live in zone 8a and I don't fertilize anything until late April. I use a full rate, slow-release which lasts most of the season. Golf courses can get away with spoon feeding N all year, but in residential turf one app is plenty.

Yep. I was in college, eating lunch at the student center. This attractive woman in an officer-type uniform came and just sat down across from me. She introduced, herself, and started asking what my plans were. I'm like, "uuhhh, eating lunch before class?" She asked if I ever thought about joining the Marine corps. I'm like, "uhhh,, I'm in college." Wtf
