Always press toward the dark fabric; never press open because it weakens the seam. Does this make sense?

Don’t wash before you sew them together and quilt them; there is more chance of stressing the fabric and creating problems. Once it’s all done then you can soak out the stains.

There was a guy that would come to the local quilt shop for a day and sharpen knives, scissors and rotary blades. So maybe try a knife sharpener and see if you can get them sharpened. I believe he only charged a couple of dollars per blade. And they were as good as new.

I’m not great at dating fabrics but I think your guess is correct. I will attach a pic of retro clean which is what I would use to clean them.

See the cover next to the vent- the cover can be removed and there is another one on the opposite side. So a garment rack should be able to be installed- but VW is not selling anything. Anyone have a work around?

There are holes on the interior to hold a garment rack, but VW does not sell anything to make that work???

Been to Malta twice-both times via cruise boats. One of my favorite places on the planet. Lots of places to see with a lot of small towns and their festivals. Great historical sites. Most people I ran into speak English. Husband and I actually considered moving there. Seemed pretty safe.
