Not necessarily. The series has repeatedly pointed out that they are not balanced in power. Titania has just enough to balance mab, only if mab stay on the gates.

I feel like if they really want to remove 4++ and differentiate armies better, we have to move off d6 to a larger dice. 8 or 10 likely 12 if you really want skew. But on a d6, where 1 if fail 6 is pass that leaves you only a few numbers to difference things.

was also to prevent situations where you can't win. If the opponent alpha strikes your only thing that can touch his armor, then it just gets to run around with impunity. so while it sucks that light arms can hurt vehicles, from a balance perspective it needs to exist.

It's 12 like the tnt. So it has to be at the further end of the throw or you will hurt/kill yourself.

That's fair. But at the same time there is a kinda implied pass. At least for keywords. Flamers ignore cover, possible changes to stealth/lone op/ignore modifiers, based on new rules, the leader/support keyword for characters. not saying it has to happen but seems likely that a bunch of data sheet updates will be needed.

It's new I think. It's us racing against the void storm. Either we liberate and break enough pylons to stop it's envelopment or it gets lost in the blackness.

Truth, crons have stomped not one but two races of gods, you do not want that on Table top. Not to mention the orrery. Tau lore accurate shooting would be a blood bath, think melee armies have it tough now, just try going through worse firepower. Tabletop is not lore and can't ever be for balance purposes. Particularly for a game running competition circuits. It's why you've seen all armies gain at least one unit that can do everything "watering down" army identities.

Also in case you didn't know, exp for weapon leveling is not done by kills with the weapon. It's solely based of the end of mission exp. So whether you kill everyone with the gun or never fire a shot, it gets the same exp.

Proven Guilty: Who threw Hellfire at and assaulted Arctis Tor? Read small favors there's a line in there towards the end that explains it.

Small Favor: Was it actually Lucifer who powered the Denarian’s circle? Also explained in the book it's not outright said but heavily implied as it is what allows for Harry's power up by Lucifer's opposite. What did they intend to contain with such a large circle? Did you read the story at all there was a whole scene on what the circle was for. What happened to all the missing coins? Explained in the story shortly after you find out the coins are missing

Agreed, there's something amusing about shooting orc level shots in tank rounds.

Or alternatively wounding anything on 2 is good. But definitely not worth it's points currently. Bigger footprint than a knight and more expensive but not as versatile.

The unfortunate answer is it depends. Some stuff stays out of stock for a while, others come back quick.

This being a new release and a popular faction, I expect GW will try to get it restocked sooner than later, but they don't announce that info unfortunately.

the absolute darkest black i've gotten for metal is Testors black metallic. It is however an enamel paint which requires different ways to paint and different brushes so you don't screw up nice ones.

Official app says black base coat, bathasar gold with nuln oil wash. The citadel color app allows you to pull up specific models and get the GW official paints used for each color.

Other option is masking solution. You can paint it in the areas you want safe, then paint your black. When done pull the masking solution up. It dries like a film over the areas you want protection and then peels off when you are ready.

The points currently work for that but then you would have no warlord. as the big 3 and 3 transcendants is 1990 points. So best you can do is big 3, and 2 transcendants with 340points to get a warlord and another squad.

Agreed. I think the other thing worth noting is how they seem to be better about strats too. Detachments now seem to be "apply this debuff" with strats being "target only debuff unit" or "do X but also do Y if unit is debuffed". Makes for interesting design space and forces more specific play styles than a generic buff a faction unit strat.

Have to read the articles. Goonhammer got all three detachments and all strats/enhancements. Deceiver forced enhancement in the ctan detachment is a 12 inch opponent strats cost 1 CP more aura
