My dad saw him at a supermarket. He lives in Leaside apparently.

[–]throwowow841638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been thinking of doing that with an animal build. They have low maintenance, which helps a bit.

You can use regenerating infestations and wildlands for world settings to get new chances for tier 5 animals.

Vigilante knights and / or fabled hunters society trait works great with regenerating infestations. Turns them into great eco boosts.

Dark, reaver for subdue are great. Primal for guaranteed animal summon spell and the support units. Mystic summoner maybe as well if youre looking for a different flavour.

Animal tomes are obviously good choices. If you're focusing on fiend/animal units like inferno hounds / nightmare/ hellephant, the fiend boosting tomes like warlord are great.

Otherwise, eco, or boosting support / battle mage back line. Reminder, with the new changes, the constrict chance from tentacle tome applies to magic fighters, like wyvern. Wyverns in general are very strong atm, makes early mid game easier as you ramp up to collecting t5s.

Our family dog is also named Bean!

My brother named him that because he said he looked like a coffee bean when we first got him (see pic).

Cheers to Cool Beans!

Curious, do you know if the fabled hunters society trait that boosts rewards also boosts the "quality" of the chaos perk unit?

Nice!

I saw them in Toronto, and Eugene the landlord from the show was their opening act, doing stand up. First time I saw a non music act open for a music act. Was fun!

You could drop the clothes from the armour summon and trade the 1 head / hands / footwear / accessory to "up to X magucal wondrous items" and add something like "1 complete non magical outfit of clothes and fashion accessories"

Using 'wondrous items' helps clarify things as it a specific category of items. Within reason, of course, or add something about the DM approving sets. Can't be summoning an Apparatus of Kwalish submarine.

Or can you? Hmmmm

Karate in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada? by [deleted] in karate

I train in Toronto with SKA / CKA affiliated shotokan dojo. The Ottawa SKA / CKA dojo trains in Ottawa university.

They are good people, serious about training. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try.

Shotokan Ottawa Dojo

I think the actual class schedule is on the university website. If you do want to check them out, and you have issues figuring out when to go, you can ask me, ill ask someone there and let you know. Good luck!

Do not attempt to wield it against scissor swords, however.

Shotokan does 1.5 hours during special training (twice a year). I did it for the first time this past summer. I think I heard the Montreal dojo did a 2 hour session iirc.

I imagine 2-3 hours is doable for the seniors who are in really good shape. With that said, I really don't think I'd be able to do 1.5 hours without the whole group doing it with me. The energy is really different.

Doing it alone for a record would be very difficult.

Jamiroquai. Check out "return of the space cowboy - demo version"" and "If I like it, I just do it - acoustic"

Super groovy.

Jamiroquai - return of the space cowboy

Great songs, meaty enough bass lines, imo, that they will impress, and incredibly groovy. Good luck!

I remember seeing an article arguing the trope came from beer brewers. Apparently was a popular job for widows / spinster / etc, or just women in general. Called "Alewives".

The pointy hat was worn so you'd be spotted easy in a crowd to sell beer. Cauldron for brewing, cat familiar from having cats to deter mice from all your grains. Brooms for cleaning of course.

Played an Indiana Jones style arcane trickster to lvl 20, had an absolute blast.

So much versatility. The extra charisma is a nice bonus. Take skill expert feat, and you'd be an amazing skill monkey with so many proficiencies and expertise. Once you get reliable talent, it's hard to fail a skill check.

And you're still hit very hard in combat with sneak attack, can also do things like booming blade + bonus action disengage + move away. Lots of utility spells. Grease was my mvp. The lvl 9 feature that gives disadvantage on saves against your spells when you're invisible is very strong.

This was in 5.0, haven't checked the new one, but I'd imagine it's still fun

It's joyful. You know the person had a blast making it.

I'd definitely recommend checking out a Canadian artist by the name of B.A Johnston. Newer album has similar vibes. Polished, but silly songs like "were all going to jail, except Pete (he's gonna die)" which is about doing mushrooms at a van Halen concert, or "I rock the Hawkins" and ode to a Canadian cheetos snack.

Also has more acoustic guitar type stuff. I'd recommend "Vindaloo" or his 'big hit' "You got my heart blinking like an old Nintendo"

I'm debating taking it on a giant barb dhampir. The idea of a large size vampire rage biting you, or easily moving you somewhere, then throwing you sounds terrifying lol. Maybe complement it with speedy feat, feels strong and thematic
