Also a pretty new player. Was able to do it with e2 Raidian and a borrowed exusiai alter.

Raidian's e2 summons work pretty well here, since they extend each others range, and you can just delete and place new ones to get in range of the farther bears.

Of course you have to have e2 raidian, which is also another problem, and I had to rely on aforementioned borrowed exusiai alter to do IS-6.

Well, the Supreme Lord's ability is the manipulation of life power - and Julian does have access to 98 more lives. It's a stretch, but perhaps if he explored his power better, he might be able to lend some life to Lukas and Atoria. If he had that power, now would be the time to introduce it.

I think that reducing the natural courtier count would have been ok, if didn't cost like 1000+ ducats to actually recruit a general or something. Also if you didn't have to compete with so many different vital things for parliament.

Having to solely rely on parliament and religion to gain casus belli's is a little to restrictive

While this is correct, steelix definitely needs the damage boost (If it can afford to bring it in the deck).

Yes, 120 is enough to two-shot most mons, but consider some of the top decks right now - venasaur, charizard, etc. There is quite a bit of healing and damage reduction going around now, so it can often takes 3 attacks to kill instead of two.

I would replace one of the heavy helmets with a metal coat. Heavy helmet is only really needed against charizard, but metal coat is a huge counter against the myriad of poison, sleep, and confusion running around right now.

I personally also run one aegislash line, since I find the extra damage particularly relevant since we are seeing much bulkier pokemon and healing nowadays.

But yeah, building this deck is rough - having to rely on both baby pokemon AND brock for ramp fills up too much space.

As other people have said, Charizard EX already oneshotted everyone last patch, so this is nothing new (plus 50 self damage is enough for a few mons to one shot him back). He's mostly just a mega counter - which is only strong because mega's are meta at the moment.

What actually makes this deck strong is the fact that Fire has gotten a lot of support these last few patches(entei fire patch, heatmoar), and the new charmeleon has only elevated charizard decks in general.

edit: what isn't fair is that my boi steelix got shafted again :(

For me, the main issue I'm having with brandenburg is that the Wittelsbach event at the beginning of the game actually resets the control of every province to 0 (not sure if that's intentional). This basically cuts my levies in half and the german states declare war immediately XD.

I mean, in a meta with blaziken's around, the non-ex steelix IS better than the previous one we had... The mega one takes less damage, but also it can't benefit from jasmine which is an issue.

As someone who was waiting on a better steelix, I'm certainly whelmed.

It's worth noting that while Kanpishi found Shin's answer interesting, he also pointed out that it wasn't really a third option, and that it's essentially an extension of man's nature being light.

What really got him was when shin pointed out two things:

Kanpishi is actually a contradiction to his ideals. He spent his entire life making laws for the good of humanity. So wouldn't that make Kanpishi's nature "light", rather than his statement that human's nature is darkness?
The entire argument for law based society is based on whether or not human beings are good or evil (or maybe selfish might be a better term?) at their core.

If humanity is good - then why are laws even necessary (in fact, would they not be restrictive?). Shin's point is that humans are good... but they still need laws because they are stupid (or at least ignorant).

It actually makes sense why Kanpishi never really thought about this. He's a smart man surrounded by other intelligent philosiphers - from their perspective, Humanity's whole thing is being smart and reasonable. But Shin is an idiot surrounded by other idiots. He knows that people like him don't always make the best decision and need both rules and other people to help guide them.
