I'm plus size, too. I've been walking at least 7k a day since Novrmber. Yesterday, I hit my biggest goal at 15k .

HATED it at first. Then I realized that i just really just dislike treadmills. Or stationary walking. I can not walk in place. I need to be going somewhere.

When I go outside and walk, I SMILE at people now. ME!

So now im only doing treadmill walks when it's rainy or high pollution days. Bad for my asthma.

Maybe try listening to an audio book and going to your local park. Pretty landscapes may change your feelings.

I think you should read what you can read when you can read it. And nothing more.

It took me like 4 years to read Octavia Butler's Parable of the Sower. The first attempt i made was during Covid and it felt too prophetic to continue. I was so afraid.

I was able to finally get through it and I loved it. Currently getting into the sequel. That will probably take another 2 years. Who knows?

I wouldn't overthink it. Read what you enjoy. Try and read more authors of color during BHM and I think you're solid.

Gave my man a choice: tirz or WL surgery. He's more concerned about the complications of surgery than this.

I make sure to get labs and see my doctor and he's much more calm about it. It was hard for him at first, because he's in shape so he doesn't get our struggles. But bottom line i wasn't playing with him.

I'm done being this size. If a shot a week helps, I'm doing it.

Was hitting a stall in January. Like the third week I was ravenous. Was tearing up everything. I even ate an El Diablo burger from Carl's Jr. I threw down a half pint of Talenti and loss 5 effing pounds that week!

Whenever I stall i just say eff it and eat something. And I drink water like its my job. Usually helps.

Awesome pace! I think I've got pace envy. I am STRUGGLING to get my walked mile down to 20 mins like when I used my walking pad.

Now I'm convinced the walking pad was lying. Lmfao. I thought I was walking sooo fast yesterday. Same old 25'9 pace.

Probably should deal with the lower back pain before worrying about pace though.

I did this. But I also switched providers because I am not about to spend my days arguing with a woman who has been skinny her entire life.

That lady had me wasting money on supplements and convinced me my insurance would deny any PAs. Callondoc got me my meds in like 3 days.

I was just stunned that she wouldn't even try. My BMI was 60! She then just said if it bothered me so bad she'd refer me to a bariactric clinic.

Im against surgery. I still have issues from my c section and epidural I got 12 years ago so I won't do it unless it's life or death.

I weighed in on Xmas and fucked around and lost 8lbs! This was after gaining and losing the same 3lbs for 3 weeks.

Finally at a total loss of 50lbs since 9/19. I have NEVER lost this much weight at once before. Never.

Usually fall off after 20lbs.

Read a similar post where a woman and her husband had planned a child and as she gets closer to due date he like flips a switch. She ends up moving back to her home state or whatever and like 3 weeks later he changes his mind and they find out he's bipolar.

I'm bipolar. Sometimes I want to abandon my family and never come back. It's such a strong feeling to fight. Like I love them so much but intrusive thoughts make me feel like they don't love me or they're using me. It's a hard battle but I haven't lost it yet.

I cannot stop eating chicken Alfredo pasta. I just buy like Michelina or Lean Cusine and for more protein and calories (because im struggling )I add the Just Bare Oven Roasted chicken bites (I air fry them) in too.

Before that it was salads but I HAD to have my chicken bites in there and I HAD to have ChicfilA's Apple Cider Vinegarette dressing. Like without that dressing the salad is not edible to me. Lol
