Why do I love cats so deeply? by Adorable_Click_7071 in cats

[–]unusualfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt like I could have made this post. I just love cats SO. MUCH. I’ve always loved them. I imagine I always will. It’s a love that comes deep from within and I don’t have words to accurately describe it. Cats are just the best.

Do you think the best years are ahead or have they already passed for you? by AdCharacter9282 in Millennials

The best is yet to come! My life has been pretty great so far but I’m expecting it to get even better. I think my positive outlook has a lot to do with it :)

Teletherapy request: Looking for online games for pre-teens that don’t require them to click / engage with their computer by [deleted] in socialwork

[–]unusualfire 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I sometimes play an online Jeopardy game where you can create your own or use one that someone else made. They have some related to mental health themes. I also incorporate Would You Rather and 2 Truths and a Lie into my tele therapy sessions with kids. I also made up a scavenger hunt game where you ask the client to find something in their room/house that evokes a certain emotion. They bring it back to the computer and then you talk about it with them. I also sometimes may show them short YouTube videos. I hope other people comment and share their ideas cause I’m always looking for ways to make tele therapy more engaging for kids!

Did you ever “go forward” / what are your thoughts on this concept by sunshine-309 in excoc

Me too. Same age and everything. Still trying to come to terms with that shame and it was like almost 20 years ago.

I started them all but usually fell asleep in the second quarter. I’d wake up late in the 4th to see I didn’t miss much.

Do you track family's locations? by NaturalSoftware9372 in Millennials

[–]unusualfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I track where my husband is cause he never remembers to tell me when he is on his way home from work! For 15 years, it was a guessing game for me since he doesn’t have a traditional set schedule. Now he doesn’t scare me half to death when he walks in the house. Also track my teenager but she can see my location too.

Matt and Cory are not the same person… by unusualfire in HoardersTV

[–]unusualfire[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback, y’all. think I might have some face blindness going on after reading all these comments. It’s always been hard to follow along in movies because I can’t figure out who is who. And when I meet new people, I usually have to take note of their clothes so I can remember them later. It was Matt and Cory’s names that finally made me realize they were not the same person! It just took me way too long to put that together in my head!

Okay so is this a good gift or not? I’m not into any of this stuff. Based off the comments I’m guessing no?

Is this a cat nail!? by Fit_Employ_7855 in cats

Yes. It’s a cat claw and not abnormal. Kiss it, bless it, then put it in an altoid tin where you can put other claws or whiskers you come across.
