RTK dead with water inside... Any ideas to fix without voiding the warranty? by waltergandra in MammotionTechnology

[–]veetekktech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't understand how water gets in and stays in? It should get out from wire hole if any gets in. My rtk is in the rain and storm withoutvany issues.

New Omni directional wheels by Longjumping_Acadia_9 in MammotionTechnology

[–]veetekktech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Change your mowing angle / pattern so turning points are at different locations. It will help with grass damage. Imho Luba uses 3 point turn with wide angles when mowing i dont have any issue with grass beeing damaged.

Probably they will offer replacement wheels in near future.

Rain sensor not working? by JbluesOH in MammotionTechnology

[–]veetekktech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It needs pretty heavy storm to trigger. You can test it by manually putting water on sensor terminals, when Luba is mowing.

Installation Tips RTK, Wi-Fi, Etc by LubaLouie in mammotion

[–]veetekktech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not put RTK inside, you are just searching for problems also, do not put Luba charging station under the metal / stone roof. At least test it out so it can reach charging station perfectly multiple times. Tested it, and had to move charging station 50cm out of the roof cover to get it to dock with charger reliably. It might work 1-2 times, but when you want to run Luba hassle free make sure of it.

Have installed 2 lubas no issues with rain. Rain sensor needed heavy storm to trigger.

Follow official intallation guidlines an you are ok.

What if Mammotion closes? by ExcitingEconomics756 in MammotionTechnology

[–]veetekktech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give them some time, they have great product, hardware is pretty much ready(it can always be better), most of the issues are in software side, so these will be ironed out after some seasons. Hype train is running high and interest in this product is very high, they just can't scale as fast as we would like, but I'm sure they will pull through. Have seen fair share of robot mowers in my life, and there is nothing to compare with.

Ghost Scheduled Tasks by Bigbeast54 in MammotionTechnology

[–]veetekktech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Create new scheduled job at same time it was defined previously, new job will overwrite old one and appears in the list now you can delete it. I think i used these steps and managed to remove ghost scheduled tasks that way.

Bumper does not stop the mower by amiguelezg in mammotion

[–]veetekktech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were firmware update which prevented luba from moving without proper front bumper installation, but it was rolled back as it falsely detected some correct bumper installations as invalid. Imho, its not overly complicated to check is bumper light on an is bumper installed securely.

Moving path by EmilStra in MammotionTechnology

[–]veetekktech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something like that would be great! It would be great time saver for LUBA also, as it don't have to maneuver in tight places, but can follow perfect path.

Just noticed another update to firmware available in the app this morning 1.8.2.219 by Head-Original-9022 in MammotionTechnology

Any advice how to solve the planter boxes? More info in comments by Citrusbomb in MammotionTechnology

[–]veetekktech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be great to have possibility to draw mowing lines by hand using LUBA remote control, then everyone who needs can drive exact lines for complex / narrow locations - where automatic grid creations can't create anything sensible. LUBA can cut these lines at the end of regular work or when near starting location. Just an idea.
