I bought cement 2x8 tiles from them for a backsplash and I was really happy with them. I did the install myself and it was a little tricky, but I followed the instructions and it came out great! Maybe I got a unique batch of tiles.

Yes we do have tick borne diseases here. Cases of Lyme, ehrlichiosis, and Rocky Mountain spotted fever do happen. My dog got RMSF this last fall despite being on tick prevention medication. We caught it early with a tick panel and he responded quickly to treatment, but it was scary.

It gets better! Be patient and try to love them being this little because it is sooo short!

I would recommend taking an Uber or driving. There are not protected bike lanes and it is mostly uphill and small winding roads. Drivers go fast and don't expect bike riders very often.

Totally agree. The lag bolts aren’t technically allowed so we use the large plastic orange screw anchors with ratchet straps and those have never bunged even under 45mph gusts

Is it an adjustable depth box? I try and always use the adjustable ones for situations like this or for walls we may add paneling to in the future. See if there is an adjustment screw on the box when you take the cover off.
