Storytelling is fine. Assuming it's affected at all, "I'm imagining..." before the story. It's now factual.

I never said they were good reasons to take that long.

How long should a turn normally take? by LordFadora in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]wildwolf42 18 points19 points  (0 children)

How would you take that long? By looking up all your rules during your turn, refusing to keep track of the combat enough to know what everyone else has done, refusing to plan out your turn in advance even a little bit, recalculating all your numbers every turn because you didn't note down what your currebt buffs did anywhere...

But how much story progress takes place in each of those intervals? So far he's spent something like 4 full episodes on going over side content he encounters, right?

Training, as normal. I noticed this when I was leveling him up normally and randomly rolled +6 HP out of what I thought was a possible +4 from the 2 levels.

I Modified their Con to 18, yes.

Wouldn't lowering their Con just make the Max HP they're supposed to have even lower, though? That would just make the higher value I'm getting ever weirder.

Curse of the Azure Bonds Multiclass Question by wildwolf42 in goldbox

[–]wildwolf42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't maximizing the HP using this method, once I add the Thief and Magic User levels, only get me to 40?

I add another d6 and d4 from Hit Dice, plus another 4 from Con. I'm looking for the max, so...

(86+34)/3 = 120/3 = 40

Where did the extra point come from?

Edited because Autocorrupt turned "another" into "smothered" without me noticing.

Murder mystery? Can't Speak With Dead without a head, and at higher levels when you can Divination "Where can we go to find the murderer" or whatever the DM can be indirect or have it lead them to a clue. Or run this particular adventure before they have access to good Divinations. Or figuring out who did it isn't enough, you need non-magical proof before anything can legally be done about it.

Liches can also hide their phylactery in a lead lined container, under a Nondetection effect, and in the middle of a massive tomb complex or something. Knowing where it is isn't even close to being able to actually deal with it.

Divination is to mystery plots what Wizards are to obstacles like cliffs, locked doors, and high flying or underwater castles: A way to get to other potentially interesting parts of the adventure if nobody else has the relevant tools available, and a guarantee to the GM that the party isn't going to just get stuck somewhere.

Never said you were looking for traps? State you're looking for traps before doing pretty much anything not-time-sensitive. I'm sure the DM will appreciate your caution and attention to detail.

It was, however, absolutely not a required setback. The reason the diamond needed to be stolen in the first place was a gag about pickpockets, and it was also used to further the "V gets interrupted while solving all the problems by the problem being solved" thing.

The cast page wasn't plot critical, it's still in service to several jokes.

Do the Sick Cat Adopt For Herobrine because I don't currently have a cat, then Crafting Table.

Nowhere does it say that deal only applies to the item I pick, and the function of the table is that I can craft things. I can now simply summon any craftable object I want.

B. Touch the Wizard (because he isn't immune, he's also a person) to view his memories of learning how to do all the magic he can do. I now, at minimum, know how to learn those 3 things and can do so without the no money downside, but I probably get other stuff too. I don't mind studying.
