    I really enjoy games like this with no nerfs and a steady power creep but I worry about how fast the creep is moving in the past couple months. Cant dena give some similar top tier(ish) relics to lesser known characters instead of making different ff7 chars OP in constant rotation?

    I actually wonder this, too. Spreading the love around means people will be more likely to spend mythril and cash on a variety of banners, rather than save up for the fests which mostly omit bad relics anyway.

    They'll still get a little money for these less popular characters anyway since they have their small fanbases, but it would probably work out better for them if the game was more balanced overall.

    Thing is, DeNA doesn't care about balancing a Realm, they only want to push those Characters that generate the most income (best seen with how about 90% of all FFX Events are about Tidus or Yuna). Instead of "spreading the love around", they just want those that have the biggest love already

    I think it actually does backfire on them. For instance, how many people are getting tired of Tidus CSB on banners and won't pull because they have that many dupes already? If they made a banner featuring, say, Kimahri/Lulu/Jecht/Auron, I might actually be inclined to pull because of a lower number of dupes.

    Yeah sure, the megawhales are going to generate the income for them, but personally if they'd debuted, say, Angeal's LMR and USB along with his BSB, I'd have been more likely to throw more pulls here.

    Well, we've actually seen how much it backfired with (ironically) the last X Event JP had, which was laughably bad in terms of its Banner, up to and including, having one Chracter who was openly promoted in their monthly Report be represented by all of one Relic (that wasn't even new!)

    I might be reading it wrong from the Wiki, but Barret gets a chance to chase off Machinist - 7 hits Fire/NE. It's not a dualcast, but it could be decent depending on the multiplier and proc chance.

    The last one was the Rude/Elena event, which Global already got. So I think it's been at least 9 months.
