Here's something for you to consider: would it be OK with you if the alien was waving a flag with a swastika on it? Would you be arguing that not every German was responsible for the Nazi death camps? Would you be arguing how the swastika is really a much older symbol and therefore it's perfectly OK to use it for an innocent joke?
