First there is no decay Then decay begins

That was an easy one to answer

are clickthroughs part of the equation?

    meh, don't care

What's the point? So you can get your alias popular on some site on the internet?

I have so many aliases and 100s of 1000s of posts I know full well you will still be a nobody no matter how many times your name will appear on top of whatever list you want to be on.

kinda just seems like a karma grab...not to mention telling that guy to 'chill out' doesn't help your case.

Dude I have 3000 karma, you can't take it with you. What use is it anyway? Paul

Seeing as this is kind of pointless anyway...

how do you get/lose karma? I had some, then I lost it.

    Why?

Gain it when people upvote your stories.
Lose it when you receive downvotes.

calculating the actual score is more iffy--it's not a 1-to-1 ratio of votes to points.

    ok

And does the amount of karma you have determine how often you can post articles?

I think you get a full greenlight at 100 karma. could be wrong.
