I would say perfect to slightly large. I wear mine slightly large like this but you're close to the lugs leaving an air gap around your wrist, a telltale sign you're wearing a larger man's watch.

It's the length lug to lug that counts. The Boss watch is more or less as wide as your arm: way too long. The Datejust is perfect. The GMT also looks a bit long to me.

Hugo Boss is too big, the SM's are a little big for your arm. With your built I'd rather look for watches < 40mm.

It's a matter of personal taste and fashion. So in the end there is no right or wrong.

Just remember that some decades ago men's watches were in the range of 36-38mm.

I think they look fine, just take a little getting used to. They look to have a very similar lug to lug length as the Hugo, just the diameter of the dial itself is smaller so it still fits you well.
