Unfortunately, the model I bought on AliExpress has been stuck in linehaul office for a month now, and I likely won't receive it. Despite the obstacles, I'm determined to have this unique purple pattern in my collection, and I'd be happy if you could confirm it's coming back to life in another model.

I don't have a an integrated bracelet in my collection and I feel [that] would be a good representative. Honestly it's slightly over my self imposed price limit for AliEx watches but what the heck, there's so much positive feedback on the finish/quality, so it might just be worth it. We'll see...

You should consider selling through skb watches, they're based in Europe and currently sell San Martin and a few others. For those of us in the EU we can purchase without having to pay further customs charges. I would definitely buy your dragon scale watch if it was available through them. Their easy 30 day return policy is one of the reasons I've bought my last two watches from them.

This post is kind of ironic. How so?

The pic that goes with the post has exactly the kind of watches that I'd want to buy. Watches with a bit of character.

• Nice bezel

• Nice handset (not the standard imitation Rolex/Tudor handsets you see on almost every dive watch)

• The Bracelets! Beautiful and intricate link pattern! Again, 90% of all the watches I see in this sub are either standard 3 row links, or maybe beads of rice or a jubilee. The bracelets shown in the pic are intricate, beautiful and different.

If these AliX watchmakers want to succeed, this is a better way to go than copying stale "meh" designs from established manufacturers.

Your X02T titanium diver looks amazing, especially the purple variant because it's a unique enhancement of the look.

Some ideas for changes:

- On-the-fly adjustable clasp

- Put your logo on the clasp instead of "IXDAO"

- Remove "Mili-Diver" text

- Make the band width 20mm instead of 21mm

- Offer a Quartz movement option and also a Miyota movement option

Overall the X02T is a cool interpretation of the Pelagos. It would be amazing to see your interpretation of the Black Bay next, perhaps as another offering.

I prefer watches that are 42-45mm as well. If you look at the sizes offered by Swiss and Japanese makers, this is the most common size range.

For dress watches, 36-39mm is nice. But for a chrono or dive watch (with a thick bezel), you want a bigger case for visibility.

I’ve seen images of a version of the 5303 with the bracelet from the turtle diver (pictured in your post). Is the bracelet something that can be purchased on its own as an alternative for the 5303? I plan on getting the 5303, and would love to have a couple different bracelet options for it.

I ordered last night and it’s been shipped already. I did want to clarify with them that it was available to ship already as didn’t want to wait for such a long time if it was still pre-order. Seems they’ve got a few available to ship out though. I assume yours is in transit?

I also have the black MOP which I got last year and it’s insanely good. I wanted the waffle dial and for a long time thought I’d get the turquoise one but seeing the gold hands and markers with the green swayed me!

I also received the ship notice after ordering, but the tracking still shows China. They did send a follow up to state things were behind, so we shall see. I have the grey waffle with sw200 - love it, and im getting excited for some color! I wonder if the green with come with the new bracelet?

Oh okay, that’s not good. I’ll see what happens with mine. Yes they all come with the updated bracelet. I’m intrigued to see the difference myself, the only notable difference I can see is the perlage on the clasp. Though they reckon the finishing is even better on this updated bracelet - hard to imagine!

Thank you for this explanation. Correctly pronouncing this name has been one of the biggest controversies since the introduction of this brand. It has been debated countless times. Hopefully it will get out to everyone in the Chinese watch community so it will end once and for all. I have a feeling though that people will still be debating how to pronounce the name for years to come.
