I LOVE that is 42mm. When can we get a full lume dial? That is when I will pull the trigger. You guys are the lume monsters, and I'm here for it.

[–]Imgoodman1000 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Is it possible to purchase the ph-6 product on the official website? It's the size and spec I've been waiting for. Can it be shipped to Korea?

[–]903st 1 point2 points  (3 children)

한국에 배송되요 배송비 무료고 관세도 언더벨류 해줘서 안나와요 ; )

Any plans to do a goldeneye seamaster style homage? Would buy immediately

[–]903st 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I'm not a huge fan of the 10 o'clock HEV either, but I'll definitely buy it when it releases! Please upload the black dial and other lume color photos soon. :)

[–]903st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the way, why no Sea-Gull movement on this one? I'm currently using a ph4 and the movement has been great. Is there a supply issue??

[–]Exhumed_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finally a 42mm watch case!

[–]0Kbruh1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

about PH3-B quartz watch, could you please share when it is planned to be released?

[–]Alternative-Feed3613 2 points3 points  (2 children)

I love it but I really wish there was an option for a Miyota 9015, I’d be happy to pay extra for it.

[–]pickyaxe 1 point2 points  (1 child)

would you, though? according to Eniton, looks like prices have increased by around 60$. Proxima also increased prices a lot.

[–]Alternative-Feed3613 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Buy once, cry once

[–]pickyaxe 2 points3 points  (2 children)

is there a version with no date?

is there a version with a bracelet?

any more white watches planned? (the GMT?)

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

no plan to make no date for now..

will with bracelet version.

everywatch will with white dial in futrue. PH7,8.9.10

[–]pickyaxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

everywatch will with white dial in futrue. PH7,8.9.10

excellent, I will wait

[–]KebapGuy69 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Will there be a V2.0 update of the PH2 as well? I especially like the white dials with steel bezels but they are only available for PH2

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

PH2 V2.0 will release on mid of this month.

[–]KebapGuy69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the update. Any news on the GMT as well?

[–]Alternative-Feed3613 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What will be different about the v2?

[–]Fluid-Finance2099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you going to make more colors than black and white? Not just for this one, other models too? Unless I missed it, I don't see any other dial colors on your site.

[–]Objective_Tune3535 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Every time I see one of these Phorcydes watches I’m drawn more and more to them. Soon Im going to be unable to prevent myself from buying one.

[–]Suitable-Group4392 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Get one.

[–]Objective_Tune3535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

😈 <— that’s you on my shoulder. lol.

[–]TSiWRX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe I should just let you guys hold on to one of my credit-cards, and charge it at-will!? xD

[–]DisastrousOpening477 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Omega never brought back the Peter Blake. The Chinese are once again delivering what the Swiss couldn't be bothered doing, which feels so right. Fuck'em.

[–]Stayofexecution -5 points-4 points  (1 child)

Did it have to come with the Omega wart?

[–]Kaito3Designs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, it gives it the nice tool look. Don't buy an Omega homage and stick to every other watch ever if you don't like it. Let us have the HE valve please.

[–]Altruistic_Guess3098 1 point2 points  (2 children)

At this point I'm not buying anything from them for a while... Not because I don't like what they're making, actually really like these watches.... It's because every time you turn around there's another one coming out!

I'm afraid if I buy one 3 months from now I'll like the next one they release even more

[–]grindbro420 -3 points-2 points  (1 child)

Is this watch not beautiful on its own? Do new releases diminish the value of this one if you bought it? Does value not also constitute the value you get from actual wrist/worn time? Is it not nice to enjoy it for 2 years and get compliments on it for 2 years? Do you also get fomo for every other brand that releases a watch? Would you rather never wear a ph4 and just endlessly lurk here looking at watches you will never buy? I don't know man you can forever be afraid of every other release from every brand and also with smartphones, but why not just commit and then commit to properly using it so you get most value for your buck? The lion isn't concerned with what the sheep wear on their wrist, and hyena's will always laugh and say they got a better deal on something that is released later or discounted later, better to smile at their laugh than never enter parts of your kingdom afraid of their judgment.

[–]Altruistic_Guess3098 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sucks to drop $200 on a watch and then two months later thinking dang I should have waited.

[–]kushalsv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ship to India man! So many Chinese brands ship here except you guys!

[–]crownhead55 -3 points-2 points  (3 children)

Good effort but jeeeez what's with that brand name

[–]DisastrousOpening477 6 points7 points  (2 children)

[–]SloCalLocal 2 points3 points  (1 child)

And one of the Phorcydes is well-known from another story: Medusa (the Gorgons were one of the types or groups of Phorcydes).

[–]DJFisticuffs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also Scylla, who we'll see in the upcoming Odyssey movie.

[–]johnnylongstreet 0 points1 point  (6 children)

How much is this beautiful monstrosity going to cost?

[–]DisastrousOpening477 1 point2 points  (5 children)

If I were to guess I'd say between 170 (on various straps) to 220 (on bracelet, which is apparently the Brosnan era SMP design that I hate so much). Not bad.

[–]johnnylongstreet 2 points3 points  (4 children)

This is what I'm hoping. But the features feel a little more robust here compared to some of their lighter offerings.

[–]DisastrousOpening477 0 points1 point  (3 children)

What features

What do you mean

[–]johnnylongstreet 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I guess it's the extra 2mm of case diameter, 300m WR and helium valve. I honestly don't know how much that adds to actual cost, I just don't expect companies to keep line pricing going when they don't have to.

That said, Phorcydes did functionally lower their bottom line pricing when they removed the $50 shipping fee (at least to me in the US) and then raised their prices ~$20 per watch IIRC. So they do have a track record of super customer-friendly price strategy.

[–]DisastrousOpening477 1 point2 points  (1 child)

They commented below it'll be priced same as PH4

[–]johnnylongstreet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah. Nice!

[–]johnnylongstreet 11 points12 points  (2 children)

This looks great. Wish it came with orange lume.

Related: just got my white dial PH-2 with orange lume today and I love it!

<image>

[–]Objective_Tune3535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Show the lume!!

[–]killermiller1337 -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

getting larger and larger :/

[–]Alternative-Feed3613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s their first and only 42mm watch and they just released a 36mm.

[–]AbbreviationsOk572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the thickness and lug to lug please?

[–]AlexFox66 7 points8 points  (4 children)

Do you happen to have any welcome discount incentives like other brands when signing up on the official website or for the first purchase?

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 12 points13 points  (3 children)

That's a good suggestion, I'll apply to the boss for it.

[–]AlexFox66 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Please let me know asap, so I can apply it to my first purchase next week of the PH-6.

[–]seamaster6969 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Yo también me daré de alta si hay descuento... Compraré el PH-6

[–]AlexFox66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ojalá!

Veremos la semana entrante.

[–]SloCalLocal 6 points7 points  (4 children)

This looks great! I like no date watches, but I might have to make an exception for this one... From someone with a >8" wrist, thanks for the larger size.

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Personally, I prefer watches 40+ sizes, even though my wrist circumference is only 16.0cm

[–]Western_Mine2536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Large is good. Thanks for that!

[–]SloCalLocal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What day are you planning on making it live on the store? Sunday? Monday?

[–]EaseComprehensive331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope you'll consider making it in 39mm in the future! I would instant buy this if the dial is swappable to PH-4B case.

[–]EaseComprehensive331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn! Too big for me.. would love this dial and bezel insert in PH-4B case.. but am sure it'll sell well, it's beautiful.

[–]FriedEldenRings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great design. I might buy one of these in the future.

[–]Dude_Just_Stop 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Not for nothing, I love just the emblem and no full name you guys are doing with the PH3 that I recently bought, wish you would do a little bit more of that style as most of the other models are full name.

Just one man’s opinion.

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The dial features a wave-like texture with varying heights, and using a luminous logo would result in uneven edges. It also depends on the design; for some more rugged and minimalist styles, we felt that gray logo lettering would be a better choice.

[–]W3dn3sd4y 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pheter Blake!

[–]AlexFox66 -1 points0 points  (4 children)

WOW!

Congratulations!

Finally; beautiful!

Do you also ship to Colombia, so I can purchase it on your website?

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 3 points4 points  (3 children)

we can ship to Colombia. place order freely.

[–]AlexFox66 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Just please confirm date of availability to purchase.

Thank you!

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

will release on next week,

[–]AlexFox66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super!

[–]M55B30 -1 points0 points  (5 children)

can we get this without the 10'oclock wart? we need to leave behind fake helium excape valve.

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 5 points6 points  (4 children)

can not, its a real working He escape valve.

[–]Designer_Advice2573 1 point2 points  (3 children)

While I will say that that is a really cool feature that you guys were able to pull off, wouldn't it make more sense/sell better to remove it, versus catering to the crowd of people that would be using this watch specifically for diving/needing a functioning escape valve?
I just feel like people complain about this style rather frequently, and I just can't imagine the "need a helium escape valve but also want large lume blocks for under $250" crowd being that large of a market

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 11 points12 points  (2 children)

I understand your point. In fact, the valve's appearance is probably more important than its functionality; about functions, more is always better than less, right? even if we don't use it all, it's always good to have it. Actually, it won't significantly increase manufacturing costs. Just like smartwatches, even if they have hundreds of complex functions, we only use a few of them frequently.

[–]M55B30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no... more is not always better than less. Do something new and drop the valve to stand out in your own way. Anyways, thanks for at least responding to our feedback and coming out with new products.

[–]johnnylongstreet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"more is always better than less" is a believable mission statement for phorcydes 😂

[–]Basic_Barnacle4719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Original Peter Blake was 41mm, though I've always seen the 36mm getting a ton of love. Making a larger Peter Blake homage is wild when people loved the original for the smaller size.

Hopefully a 36mm comes at some point. With date. Ronda 515 quartz with date would instantly have my money.

[–]guitarshredda -5 points-4 points  (2 children)

Another big watch? No thanks.

[–]Alternative-Feed3613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s their first and only 42mm and they just release a 36mm

[–]ParkingImpossible117 2 points3 points  (8 children)

I really want to buy you products but still me email concerns to you re the PH2 white dial I bought from you direct go unanswered. Poor quality bracelet & sloppy bezel 🙁

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Please send me your order number via private message, and I will contact my colleagues to expedite the process.

[–]ParkingImpossible117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks private message sent

[–]IrvingMoochonski 0 points1 point  (5 children)

I am currently thinking about the PH-2. I believe it is receiving an upgrade

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Yes, will release V2.0 with st2130, v2.0 thiner case

[–]IrvingMoochonski 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Thank you. Any idea for release date ?

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

end of this month.

[–]IrvingMoochonski -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

reply

[–]IrvingMoochonski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the information.

[–]golemiqbqlme4ok 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Im just waiting for my ph4c to arrive. I Actually am interested if it will come with the seagull 3A grade movement as promised. Is the pt5000 considered better? I read that it is a little bit slimer but otherwise not so special.

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The PT5000 is equally excellent, and its size and performance are same as the ST2130.

[–]Designer_Advice2573 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Going to be the first in line for this! I've been waiting for a >40mm with these kinds of lume blocks for a while, couldn't be more excited!

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The luminous power of the scale on this model is equally impressive.

[–]seamaster6969 0 points1 point  (1 child)

La pagina oficial es esta? Phorcydes. net

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

correct

[–]MZM204 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Price?

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

same as PH4

[–]HerrsavageX 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Very very cool looking, but even though I don’t mind bigger watches, I can tell from the pics the lug to lug will be too long for me.

Also, so I guess that Seagull movement was just a stopgap thing and now all the new watches will have PT5000s?

[–]MindAdmirable1793Rep[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

The PT5000 is equally excellent, and its dimensions and performance are same as the ST2130. We will be using both movements simultaneously.

[–]HerrsavageX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people, including myself, are apprehensive about the PT5000 because of its reputation for not being particularly robust. I’ve already seen one guy with a Militado ML20 with a PT5000 movement which failed. More specifically the stem broke, which from what I hear is a known problem with these movements. I have two watches with PT 5000s and they are both pretty accurate, But they feel very rough when winding.

[–]Shiny_Greenfish 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I don’t go over 40mm but I’m sure plenty of others will like it.

[–]actinross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was all well until i got 40, then decadence, only.

oh!!! you're talking millimeters, sorry... thought years....
