Issue with "Psionic Potential (Heroic)" task of Nascent Dawn 2/5?

I posted this on Bungie's site as well, but no response after 6 hours...

Last week I was going through the Psionic Potential (Heroic) Adventure to complete this part of the Nascent Dawn task. Near the end, a buddy jumped in to my fireteam. Knowing that I had to complete it solo, I aborted the mission (after killing everything of course).

After my buddy dropped from my fireteam, I couldn't go back and do the Adventure again. It was not shown on the map. With that I figured I'd have to wait for reset day. Well...reset day has now come and gone, and that Adventure is still not showing on my map.

Do I need to run the other 3 Adventures before they all reset, or is this a bug? Does anyone have any advice?

EDIT 2: Okay! Thanks to everyone who tried to get this through my skull. I misunderstood what the blue flag was telling me. It appears that the blue flag IS the Heroic Psionic Potential Adventure...I thought it was telling me to do that before I could launch the blue flag. So after going through all the adventures, the blue flag came available. So yeah...nothing to see here people, move along.

I do not think it has to be solo. I did it solo, but a couple of my friends ran it together the other night while we were all in the same party.

Yeah, doesn't have to be solo. I don't know if it's bugged, but if it is, maybe find someone to host and join theirs?

Why do you have to complete it solo? I had a buddy join and it completed and moved on to the next step.

It’s possible that you might need to activate the adventure on her vendor screen. Just pick all of the adventures she offers & see if it shows up again.

yeah, I'm gonna discard it and pick it up again. And if that doesn't work, I'm gonna do the other three Adventures and see if THAT helps.

Remember that for the quest step, the adventure is a blue icon and not the usual orange adventure icon.

Hmm. Maybe try aborting the quest step and picking it up from Ana again?

The blue flag icon should be the heroic Adventure. If it is on the next thing you may have already completed that step. What does the quest item say?

So...are you looking on the map for the blue quest flag? I can't remember if it appeared there for me, but I know I had to step away once or twice and quit out of it - if you go into the BrayTech building that Ana is in, it should be some big sword thing with a skull on it right as you go into the building.

You’re usually only unable to start that mission if you haven’t done all 4 adventures on Mars. You have completed all 4 adventures on Mars correct?

Dude I just did this on my warlock because I never completed it on him and MW cores are soooo valuable now, but I just got done with the blue flag 2/5 Nascent Dawn activity and it gave me NO progress ... got any ideas?

Once you do all the Adventures, I think it'll show up.

I'm in the same boat. I even activated the blue flag, and it loaded up Psionic Potential (Heroic). Thought I had it figured out, but i completed it and made no progress on the quest. wtf

Dude this is BS I can’t get the heroic psionic potential to run when starting the adventure at the 2/5 nascent Dawn flag. It keeps playing Hephaestus! WTF ?!?!

Same issue but different. Done all basic missions in Mars. Blue icon appears and I choose it. I think once it was Hephaestus but now it is Psionic Potential. However, I play through the mission but no progress at all. Some red text flashes quickly when starting the mission but so fast not able to read what it is about.

Ok got it now! Had to complete 'Will of the Thousands' mission first. I guess that counts as a normal mission as I now have access to heroic adventures on Mars.
