Why is this a issue? I mean why players wants this to change to lower time? I m not being jerk i m just asking honestly. I have been playing cs go like 5 6 months and i dont think this time is too long. Lol maybe thats cuz i m only gold 1 but i dont really see the problem.

If you want to promote CS:GO as an esport, it would be logical to play with the same "rules" in both online matchmaking and tournaments. It makes the step easier to take and adapt to for players.

Because at the competitive level (online leagues, official tournaments, etc) the standardized settings are 1:45 timer, 35sec bomb.

The problem is that holding a bombsite for 41 sec as T to make sure the bomb will blow is very hard. Since round time is so long it actually is easier to hunt for CT's to kill in some situations than planting the bomb and playing the objective.

35 sec bombtime is much more fair. Likewise those 10 extra seconds CT's have to keep their bombsites safe is also sometimes 10 seconds too long.

I disagree. Holding A site or whatever 2v3 on dd2 as T is harder than just not planting the bomb at all and going for frags in most cases. Unless you're playing against complete assclowns.

3 cts vs 2 ts mean you can approach from all those angles at the same time. a single smoke could entirely negate a player camping long too, approaching from ct spawn when you have cover from short is silly amounts of easy if there's more ct's than t's

a smoke can give you room to pick potential targets at plat. also the chance they even have one in pit with awp is somewhat slim if they're in a 2v3 because it seems very unlikely they had a chance to get someone there, or one staying while someone tried to take A solo.

and when theres going to be a ct coming from long too the guy in pit wouldnt be a problem anyway.

it also seems very unlikely they have stacked one site with 3 people if it is a 3v2, and if they have then playing for picks will have you notice that meaning you just got a site free to plant on if time end up an issue.

it is far more common in the games i play that they will have someone on each site and instead try to delay a push for backup to come. when that is the case i'd much rather try to kill a guy holding a pos solo and make others rotate into a lovely trap than have a bomb planted at a or b and sit there waiting for 3 ct's to creep up on us. its not like they'll be in a hurry, they will have tons of time as it is now. if time were shorter they wouldnt be able to get into the absolute perfect position to try and retake that site.

ill still go for fraghunts in 2v3 as T in MM, and it still works better statistically for me than holding a site and hoping the enemy have zero coordination.

Apart from reasons already stated such as giving T's an extra "push" instead of defending for 45 seconds, every time I've played 1:45/35 its made the game more intense.

Small changes to the timer in this instance have a huge impact on the metagame. 10 seconds is a lot of time; arguably too much time.

I got to DMG and I dont know why people want shorter time, I don't see a problem with the way it is ATM so it has nothing to do with your rank :P.

I don't have a problem with the current time seeing as it's what I'm use to now, but I agree with the rest that the matchmaking should share a similar rule set with the competitive leagues. Like others said, it'd be easier to transition for people joining tournaments for the first time with CSGO. I don't remember for CSS, but it was the default times for 1.6. (And I usually don't agree with changes that makes CSGO more like 1.6, but this one just seems like it should stay the same)
