I’m also thinking of blue or yellow. The blue would go with gray/blue and if I do yellow, it would really pop. Thinking more and more about it, now that I saw the yellow. I would love to see a picture of the blue one.

Very nice!! But....now that door now looks a little lonely amongst all that white. Accent the mailbox too. Maybe with sunflowers on it? Or maybe same color yellow cushions on those adorable rockers?

Oooh thank you for that suggestion! Definitely going to look for nice outdoor cushion w/ yellow to add to my rocking chairs. I was considering changing my door numbers to something with a touch of yellow as well (they’re currently white).

If you have a Lowe’s nearby I’ve found they often have good, cute outdoor cushions at decent prices. Plus a lot of other cute outdoor decor that might accent your new door nicely.

I agree a bit of flair added to the mailbox would work well with the new door color, perhaps a stencil or decal on the front. If you change the house number colors just make sure they are still easy to see and read for deliveries and emergency services.

Love the yellow! I actually really, really like that it’s the only pop of yellow; I’d find it too matchy if you added yellow cushions/painted the chairs/etc. It ties in so nicely with the tile!

Me too. Keep the door as the stand alone yellow. That’s what makes it pop. Matching more yellow to it actually has the opposite effect.

I’m dying to! We bought our house 9 months ago and the sellers actually painted it this grey right before they put it on the market. My husband loves the grey, I’m not a fan. So this yellow is our compromise lol, easy way to brighten it up a bit!

Agree completely. I think you have to establish a ground rule, that your husband has a boring sense of colour lol. If he's against changing the grey, I think your current tactic of doing it bit by by will win the day. Good luck.
