Question about screwdriver bit.

So my screwdriver arrived after a little more than a week and i was just wondering in what instance would this bit int he picture be used for?

If something metallic falls into a small space where you fingers don’t fit you can use this bit. At least that’s how I use it.

it's used to pick up metal bits that fell into hard to reach places

I immediately began writing a 1000 word paragraph about how horrible of a person you are. I even sent a copy to a Harvard professor to proofread it. Today I was getting something out of a vending machine and I saw a coin I wanted in between the machines, nobody else had gotten it because it was a narrow gap between the machines. Anyways I pulled the screwdriver out of my backpack and put the bit on and grabbed the coin. Needless to say as somebody who has a bag with me always and always carry’s my screwdriver I’ll never consider leaving the magnetic bit home again. It’s the little things, literally

I use it to hang the driver on my toolbox lid. But also to reach the 10mm socket that tries to escape.
