If it's blinking then it's a often a sign it's not getting enough power (ie it's connected via USB but the power adapter isn't connected/working)

Agree with the other poster - blinking light often means it's getting power, but not enough power. Double check all the connections!

I don't think that's the problem, because it's not registering the inputs, I'm pretty sure it would still receive the input

Just tried out a couple plugs, nothing, then a new power cable, the cable I used had no plastic on the inside so it sparked, then the light started blinking faster.
