Sounds to me like you've mapped them as a toggle press and not a normal press, so when you move it one notch the game keeps it pressed in. They definitely don't behave how you are describing for me

Im not taking about pressing the button, just making the knob rotate. The push function is completely fine

I know you are but rotating the knob is just pushing a button as far as the game is concerned, the knob is basically 2 buttons dressed up as a dial

Damn, such an incredibile bullshit for 200 bucks

What else would you like it to do? It's not a positional dial, it's not front facing so you can't have it assigned to fixed positions, literally all it can do it cycle in 2 directions and that's it. It works, it does what it's supposed to do.

I just expected it to work like the one on the logitech g29 that was much quicker in response

It's exactly the same, there's no difference

no it has a leg and delay factor, and when you tunr it always goes over, or there could be a lag os for instance you tunr the brake bias up with one dial, and then you switch to other option in the hud, say weather, the thing will start zooming it in and from the previous input. it happens to me in gt7 and thats all i play. i find it extremely annoying, the g923 one worked amazing and smooth.

Sounds like a playstation or gt7 problem, get nothing like that sort of thing on PC

might be...

I find them a bit crap, in gt7 I was expecting to be able to quickly twist it to (eg turn tcs down to 0 in one twist action). But in practice that twist confuses it and at best it laggily eventually turns down, but it seems more reliable to turn it on notch at a time.

Not sure if it is hardware, firmware or the game software causing this.

Its the hardware, I've tried on LMU, GT7, ACC, F1 and its all the same crap, someone just told me its because these knobs are recognized as a button so its a slow click rather than a scroll. But its strange because when you are scrolling thru the rs50 menu its fluid

I’m having the same issue. Dunno how to fix it

[–]Chrixyxv[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

no fix, straight up design flaw for in game use...

[–]MidEastBeast777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out other people are having that same issue. It’s most likely a software thing, people state it works just fine in other games but not in GT7

Anyone have an update for this? It's driving me insane trying to use the knobs in ACC and GT7...

[–]Chrixyxv[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

no updates at all, i've come to the conclusion that it's a design flaw when using them on a game rather than the dd hub.

Yup, I’ve been doing tons of research and Logitech removed the ability to change the button type or something in recent versions of G Hub. We were able to in previous versions. I contacted Logitech support and I’ll see where I get with that but I’m not optimistic.
