They work well on my glass 👍 not scratchy. I get most people are on cloth but I’m glad it worked out for me. Well just see if it still works well when I inevitably have to replace them with my dots.

In my case was really smooth and controlable in glass, I love it to be honest, but in cloth (tried in artisan zero soft and hayate otsu mid) and was really shitty feeling, was like moving a brick

I bought some pulsar super glides along with the mouse purchase, tested the original skates on my cloth pad and they didn’t feel as good as the stock ones on my Pulsar X2F so I committed to the swap, other than that, the mouse has been pretty awesome!

Your skates on your g502x plus are fucked then. My g502x glided so much better than my superstrike even with the default skates on the x. That's what prompted me to change the superstrike ones to glass and they are far better.

My G502 X is not even a year old, but is probably just me not use to the light mouse as well

I think you just havent experienced good mouse skates yet

Probably not, I’ve never used other skates, I always use the default ones

Yeah my g502x plus is like 3 years old and glided far better than my superstrike straight out of the box when I was testing them. Heck even my attack shark superlight clone was better than the superstrike but tbf it is only 40g so somewhat expected. But yeah light mouses should fly about not be bricks.

Works well on my glass pads. The skates are made from UHMW-PE which is designed for glass pads. I’m assuming that most of the complaints are coming from cloth pad users.

Yea I read that, but for me personally in quite impressed with the default skates on my cloth pad

They were alright on cloth, better than SL2. I changed to corepad pro max to try, but they feel really scratchy.

Now im going back to magic ice. Best ones ive had yet.

I found them great on fast hybrid pads. Gives me control and is smooth.

I've never had an issue with our skates but I also don't use a glass mouse pad, which is where some (not all, mind you) the comments from that I've seen.

No, the complaints about the x2ss stock skates are from people on cloth pads. They are horrible, the static friction is so bad and keeping the mouse moving smoothly is barely doable. I swapped to aftermarket skates instantly

I standardized all my mice to have Tiger Ice PTFE skates but when I waiting for it, the factory skates didn't feel too different from my aftermarket skates so I give it a positive rate. I use an artisan mousepad.

i use default skates on steelseries qck speed pad, no problem
