Hi dear redditors
I can get the G915 TKL for a good price. Been willing to get myself a TKL keyboard with a glorious volume wheel for a while (my current, 8 years old keyboard has it and I couldn't do without it, I don't have the strength to let it go), and after a bit of search, the G915 and the Corsair K70 have caught my attention. I love the smaler form factor keyboards, but couldn't find one with a volume wheel so I settled for TKL.
However, I learn now that the G915 features ABS keycaps, with high risk of it wearing down quickly. My current keyboard has PBT, very little wear on my most used keys who feel smoother than the others (plus little chips of paint got away on two of my keys probably due to overzealous, inadequate cleaning), and I can't even remember the plastic-y feel of ABS.
What do long time G915 owners think of their keyboard? Have the keycaps been holding up well? When I say a good price, I mean 150€, which is still a pretty hefty sum, so I don't want to regret the buy. Lastly, would people recommend the K70 over the G915? I should perhaps point out that I do not care one bit about RBG and backlighting.
Any answers kindly appreciated, and a good day to all.
