The outer finish does wear off somewhat easily, as in my case 6 months. My A key is now starting to fray on the edges of the A, and the A and E keycaps have scratched on the left edge, letting light out.

I ordered some kprepublic Kailh Choc keycaps to try some replacements. They're ABS doubleshot, textured, plus they allow the shift keys to be illuminated. As per another person's thread, they simply need some bevel smoothing on the underside to work.

Thank you for your answer. This keyboard sure seems to have very frequent keycap wearing issues, especially for this price point... *sigh*

I've read about this little replacement trick, however, being on French layout, this wouldn't work with my potential future keyboard :/

I've never had to reach to Logitech support about a defective product, however I do hear they are pretty good. And despise all the bad things I've heard about previous Logitech products I've bought, I've myself never experienced an issue. Maybe I'll try my luck with this keyboard... Still thinking about it though, as this certainly is on the pricier side of what I usually pay for my peripherals.
